Love & Peace to Sri Lanka from Germany. I've been there last year a month after the eastern bombings. Rest in Peace to all the vitctims i saw it on the face of the people that they were still in shock. I also felt bad for the people who earned little money due to low tourism right after. Sri Lankans are the most welcoming people i've ever met. Some of them have nothing but still offer you hospitality just because they see you're a stranger and want to be kind. I hope i can give all the Love back to you Sri Lankans one day! Just amazing how these fishers just randomly took a white guy who annoyingly waves his GoPro on their fishing trip and even return him safe to land when they realized he felt ill. They did that just for his pleasure and experience and that is amazing. We don't have this here in Germany. Of course we Germans are welcoming as well but not that warm hearted to complete strangers with who you can't even communicate with. I had the best time of my life on your island and i'm proud you let me spend my time in your amazing country. You need to preserve the beatiful nature and culture, because even if life is way harder on Sri Lanka than in Germany, you live in paradise not only from climate and nature perspective but also social interaction and general friendlyness dealing with each other and taking care of each other. Society is on a next level in Sri Lanka, everybody is so cool, open and laid back :)

Wow, that's crazy. The problem is that here in America, it's commonplace to see people, either those hustling or on drugs or drunks looking for a mark to try and beg for some change or bills with a sad story either true or fabricated and then their are the truly destitute ones, bums as they are commonly referred to, or the homeless who have not many other options but to beg people for help. Not to be insulting but the way that dude was sitting on that log surrounded by what looked to me to be garbage and both his appearance and demeanor gave the impression that he was both super wasted and hitting on that tourist, pointing to his bed and telling the man, "Hey BABAY! Sweet ass. You know what they say?, " once you go black, you never go back!" Auhggggauuhh!

As per my opinion, this is the best video ever posted by Harald! The ending of the video ( Harald’s secret) is the part I liked the most ❤️. You deserve a huge respect to to the great humanity you are showing. Good Luck!

Although I am a vegetarian but i have full respect towards these people who risk their lives to keep their livelihood going. This is a Heart touching video.

I did not understand. Do vegetarians not respect people who work hard? Is it because vegetarians do not put in any effort to catch their food because they eat plants that can't move?

Harald, this is the dogs bollocks, 10/10 on the progression scale. Total respect to these guys, this is hard work. You are a one man adventure tourism machine. These vids will do huge amounts for the local economies. Respect

One of the best videos. Truly appreciate the effort put in by the fishermen with minimum facilities. Thank you Harald for sharing this video. Suggest you change the title.

Amazing video Harald. Evan as a Sri Lankan this is the first time we saw this type of fishing. You help us to discover Sri Lanka :). Hope you give a good tip to the diving team. Take care of yourselves and stay safe.
