Use non judgemental awareness into the rise and fall of your I- consciousness everytime you have a feeling. As we gain wisdom into the causes that give rise to I consciousness. A moment will come you will have an awakening This is an existential experience. Then you will see the true nature of yourself.

@@MishaIsha1 first you have to recognize that Your addiction is the result of what you been promoting knowingly or unknowingly in the pass. It have to be accepted for what it is and forgive yourself . To begin with, try to love yourself for what it is and must be. What you have as an emotion or feeling at the present is the result of the whole content of I-consciousness which is nothing but memories of the pass and constantly projection into the future. In short it is the constant paticipation of the story of me in the head. The total sum content in the head is the present misery you experience in the present. Conclusion is,,, " I cannot solve the problem of the I ". Only non judgemental awareness should be lock onto every thoughts that arises that result in a feeling or emotion. Out of this unbias attention. You will gain insight into the working of this Automatic habits of mind that creates pain as well as happiness. Gradually you will gain wisdom and free yourself from afflictions that the mind can ever produce. You suffered because you are not seeing not due to lacking of knowledge. Non judgemental aware allowed you to see in rwal time. It is like light. Lighting up darkness in you. Nobody can help you but yourself because the main source of your addiction is created from within you. Who else can dwelling into you but yourself. Those who give you theory, ideas,opinions will never help to uprooted your suffering or experience the unsatisfaction in life. We suffered due to our ignorant of how the mind and nature within us work. Metta.

It is the game of attention. In the physical body, we are located at the third eye center. When we are somewhat able to collect our attention at the third eye center, we will start experiencing numbness, see colors, lights and a lot more. The more the withdrawal, the more the experience

Amazing insight on mind and consciousness

Gurudev says that mind is the perceiver of sense experience (0:33). Mind is called 'anthah-karana' in Sanskrit meaning an internal instrument. How can an instrument perceive? Perception takes place through mind. The apparent perceiver is the soul or 'Jeevaathma,' a Reflected Consciousness or an Identified Consciousness in a body-mind complex. Consciousness is pure, so it cannot perceive/know any second thing because there is no second thing or the 'other' for Consciousness. Consciousness is whole. However, Reflected/Identified Consciousness can apparently perceive/know/be conscious of the 'other', because only Consciousness is conscious. Not the mind. Mind is nothing but thought. Thoughts reside/play in mind. A thought cannot know another thought. All thoughts are perceived/known. Thank you!
