I spray paint many tools fluorescent colors just for this reason. In the past I'd loose too many.

You'll tell me its fine but you don't want more than 90 deg wrap on trees. you went a full 360+. Tension holds the line Up. Top is secure. Bottom make Chinese finger trap with 5-7 strand rope tied to bottom anchor. Couplings come with hooks you can attach to wire. Better flow = more sap. I have 500 taps out all on tubing. Find a true low point and hook up a diaphram pump and you'll get double the sap.

They are doing SO great! We named the little one, Winter, she's popcorn jumping all over the place, and runs right up to us just long enough for us to give her a few pets and scratches before she's jumping around again! We just love her!

If you tap multiple tress you want a vacuum pump to avoid cross contamination in the trees. They have a natural 7psi vacuum.

Awesome setup 👍 good to try different ways l think it's very ingenious of you with the barrel that would have been good in the water on the farm so you didn't have to boat it about with the wadders on ☹️ this setup maybe small but it looks effective and the sap is running 😎❤️

10" trees is safe. Glad he mentioned he doesn't mind killing his smaller trees. It prob will as deep as he went.
