Dammit...why did you have to post this? 😉Words can't express how many emotions I stir up watching highlights of Game 6. I had resigned to losing yet another World Series until (our) Mr. October hit that triple. I knew then, even after Hamilton's go-ahead HR in the 10th, they were going to win this and the Series. #11in11 #CardinalNation

You need to add Berkman tying Game 6 in the 10th somewhere in the list
@cy78554 жыл бұрын
Tbh Freese's was more clutch and memorable. David had to make up 2 runs to tie it and in the moment should he not have done it the game wouldve ended not giving Berkman the chance to do what he did. Berkman only had to make up one run. And then with Freese hitting the game winning homer it's his clutch hitting that gets himmemorialized. Add in the fact that an early error by freese helped the rangers score a run, so it was a huge comeback moment for him. It's the David Freese game.

Interesting to put the game tying triple of game 6 ahead of the game winning home run a few innings later. But it’s true. The triple is no.1. I was there and the triple with two strikes… otherwise the season is over. By the time the home run came, we were all emotionally exhausted!😮

I think Chris carpenter’s masterpiece against the Phillies in the nlds should be on the list. It wasn’t just one moment. The entire game was like the last out of a World Series. 1-0 from The first inning onward. And the Phillies were “the” team that year. Until they weren’t and we were.

@ryanrampage82663 жыл бұрын
Although it was clutch. Texas basically gave him that rbi.. they played no doubles with 2 outs and a man on first and second. Jay probably would’ve scored regardless but it was a gift. All he had to do was put in the outfield on a line drive and we tie it. And he did just that. Trust me. I haven’t forgotten about that game at all. Greatest game ever saw. I don’t give a damn what anyone says. Game 6 of the 2011 World Series. Greatest game ever saw.
@kylegross10812 жыл бұрын
@Ryan Rampage as a Giants fan I also agree that was the greatest game ever. I know a lot of ppl like to argue game 7 of the 2016 World Series. The cardinals were down to the final strike twice, and then walked it off as well. The 2016 game 7 didn’t have any of that
