Saarthi Arora The best thing I like about these traps is that they work at my level (beginner) and move me up the knowledge ladder, quickly and efficiently. Having been away from chess for twenty years, I am starting from scratch and these little gems help me get through the tedium of learning my opening repertoire. What a thrill to execute them on unsuspecting players who haven't done their homework!

You are supposed to put a comma after well. The sentence is supposed to be like this “you are talking English very well, and you are a well trained chess master”. I know that this is not relevant right now but that was annoying me so much. I am very sorry if I hurt your feelings but anyways have a nice day :)

Don't remember moves, like you don't remember the answers in math. It's better to understand the opening rather then remembering all the moves. Sure it's a good answer in the short term, but long terms if you don't know the strategies, you won't know what you're doing
@garrysmith1029
@garrysmith1029 4 жыл бұрын
@@christophermatthew7635 can you give an example? I know opening is that bad? And traps is that bad too? Understanding the ideas do you mean understand the idea behind the move and why it is move? Like one move can give you space advantage or can help you get a small advantage? I am confused I saw a video of what you said and it confused me.

Often when I am able to play one of his traps I just start to go for it. Sometimes I can figure out the correct move on the go and sometimes I play wrong moves and try to make the best out of it. Though the best way to learn is simply to play these traps as often as possible, after a while you will learn which moves are good and which aren't, and at some point you will get a beautiful checkmate :)

Congratulations on 100k subscribers!!! Your videos have definitely helped me by ensuring my opponents think twice before making their next move and because of that I wanted to thank you. I know it's very unlikely you will see this, however, could you make a video on how to trap your opponent in the sokolsky variation (also known as the orangutan/polish opening) this oppening is very common and it always stumps me in my piece development. Thank you again for making your videos, I look forward to your future ones.

Zapes I’ve actually played b4 in many tournaments lol as a 1400 I switched to d4 now because there isn’t enough information for me to study it and qgd is improving my game. In order to beat b4 play e5 and after Bb2 play Bxb4 and after they take Bxe5 play Nf6. This is the line that gives black the biggest advantage

The idea of unstoppable sacrifice Ne4 is because black want to force white to open the d file. However, if Nc3, the d file is still remain closed, black still has option to play Qd4 to create a battery against the weak king pawn and also Ng4 with the support of the black-square bishop It is still a comfortable game for black
