My Staffy mix came from the shelter. She’s not purebred, she has no papers. She was susceptible to disease, as she’s had two surgeries for cancer. She is far from the “perfect” dogs in shows and kennel clubs. But she’s by far the best dog I’ve ever known and I’d take her over some fancy dog from a breeder ten times out of ten. ADOPT ❤️🐾

Just got a gift of one from my sister, I was so delighted. She said I had to get over my love of boxers and labs and give a staffy a try. I'm very excited, and Bella is beautiful bluish brindle. She is fitting in so weel with my 11 yr old lab and my 1 yr old cat. she now has a home for life!!!!!!

I was lucky get a Staffy/Boxer Buddy puppy years ago. He was better than the best buddy you have ever had. BEST DOG EVER.

About 10 years ago when I was in the hospital my biggest fear was what was going to happen to my dogs if I died. Trying to get the money aside right now for when I retire I want to open up and no kill shelter that caters exclusively to people who are in hospice care so they can at least pass away knowing their pups are going to be loved and cared for.

Staffies are the best dogs there is ,fearless loving judgemental there is no other dog like a staffie rescue one please the dog pounds are full of them 9 out if ten you won't be sorry

Brilliant video as usual, and very good advice for novice owners, because staffies are not for everybody, and you must know how to rear them properly, my amstaff is 7 months now and i had to do alot of work with her everyday, and my wife keeps the same routine going when I'm at work, I wouldn't recommend an amstaff for a first time dog owner.

If you're very careful it's possible to get a good dog by checking ads in the paper or I found my latest dog by mouth, let friends and neighbors know to keep their ears open for pups near you

Get a staffy mix. Healthier and cheaper. I love lab/staff, mas/staff, and corg/staff..

In Sweden a unregistered one goes for around 1900-2200€ and a registered one goes for around 3000€. How can they be so cheap in England?

I imagine it's probably because there are more breeders and Staffies in Britain.I It might be worth researching if it's overall cheaper to buy from a British breeder with costs and effort of getting them back to Sweden . They are popular in Germany and France too so that might be worth looking into as well

I have a question how can I tell if my Staffordshire bully is a an American or a English version he is only 6 weeks old is there any way to tell that is not a DNA test or do I have to wait till he's older and ty

Did you not view the parents? If they were both relatively small about 30cm high max you will know it’s an English Staffy

@@aaronrogers5635 I did see the mom and she was definitely an Amstaff she said the dad was an Amstaff to but I never got to see him unfortunately and thank you for your info by the way I got the dog for free so I wasn't being too picky

My albino staffy Loki is my best friend and has gone through alot with me. I'd sooner go through hell than give him up ever. There Is no better breed. Tough, loyal, an absolute powerhouse of a dog yet gentle enough to leave with someone in a wheelchair. I take him to the oldfolks home once a week for extra cuddles as he CANNOT get enough😂

Its interesting so many dog lovers I know LOVE Staffys. But I near hate them! Haha I like my dogs low energy, maybe a little meek and very easy to walk and manage. Staffys really look like I need to be on the go 24/7 or they go nuts haha.
