Every genre has covered every emotion. Metal just takes it to a level of intensity that others wont'. Country songs about love say they'd refinance their truck for the one they love, Metal songs about love say they would sell their soul for the one they love. Rap songs about hate say they'll do a drive by, Metal songs about hate say they'll rip the world itself asunder.

It's an acquired taste. I know at least two fellow reactors who developed a liking for metal. Julia Nilon: when her fans lured her to "Pisces" she was even more shocked than Janet (priceless to watch). But a while ago, she reacted to Arch Enemy and was quite enthusiastic about it. Elizabeth Zharoff AKA The Charismatic Voice: comes from opera, but took to metal pretty fast. Today, she loves reacting to bands like Lorna Shore, who are a bit more agressive than Jinjer.

There is a reason this song is one of the most viewed and reactioned for this band. Having worked with them , and seeing them live.. They are solid, very tight, and you can expect what you get from the album live. Tati takes some liberty here and there during her live performances of songs but still very much on point and full of showmanship. 10/10 one of the most commanding and energizing front person currently in any genre of music.

You absolutely must see Tatiana at a live performance to witness her real stage energy. Best performance as a newbie to Jinjer would possibly be Perennial, live at Wacken. Scream is an extreme vocal style and requires proper techniques and training to avoid damaging the vocal mechanisms. I have followed you for a couple of years and I know this genre is not your “cup of tea”, but give it a couple of tries and you may find there’s a little Tatiana deep in your soul. And this is Tatiana without even having a crowd to perform for. She's acting a bit, but really her power comes out most profoundly on stage. Perennial live at Wacken is the perfect example, but there are so many great concert videos. They've built their career on epic performances on practically every stage that would book them including shows on 6 continents, and culminating with 152 shows in 2019 alone - 2020 obviously changed that trajectory. As a singer, lyricist, and performer, she is a brilliant frontwoman - and there are whole other genres she can segue into as naturally as she sings here. Offstage, Tati is shy, from the subject matter of her songs she seems kinda nerdy (Perennial starts out with a poetic description of the biochemistry of trees hibernating in the winter), and she battles chronic depression (which gets worse in the winter which is what Perennial is about). Onstage she becomes instead what her art and the crowd needs her to be - a metal goddess, an angel of both kindness and fury. Her sheer power as a human being to make the transformation is intoxicating to behold, and quite personally inspiring. Tati was inspired to sing metal by hearing Otep when she was 15 and being shocked to find out Otep is a woman. She started singing with every band that would let her pick up a microphone almost immediately afterward, performing with cleans while slowly developing her growling skills over the years to follow until she was ready to reveal those skills to the world performing with a prior band called Prophecy in early 2008 before being recruited to sing with Jinjer in late 2009 and officially joining in 2010. Jinjer is her 8th band across multiple genres. They were already doing impressive stuff before 2014 but had achieved only limited success. Being from eastern Ukraine, in that year the war there after Russia occupied the Crimean peninsula would have stopped them touring so they left their homes, friends, and family behind. They started touring as much as they could, both to make a living and build the success to justify their sacrifice and have been running an ever-escalating tour schedule ever since, until the lockdowns last year forced them to take a vacation. This year they are starting to come back, with a limited tour in Europe this fall mostly in Germany (assuming things keep getting better), and a full tour of the US and Canada this winter. No dates for the UK yet, but they'll be back when things get better - most years they've done a few shows there as part of their European tour. I've been lucky enough to see them twice in 2019, and have tickets for a show this fall - crossing my fingers! :) Definitely worth it, especially as they are an up-and-coming band doing intimate shows with inexpensive tickets.

@kenny2403 жыл бұрын
A big part of the quick switches is her having to be relaxed. As someone who has done this type of vocals for years, I’ve found the only way to switch quickly between a confident clean and a guttural false-chord scream is to keep the vocal tract relaxed the entire time. If you harbor any tension in the vocal tract, you’ll end up either hurting yourself at worst, or messing up one of the 2 parts at best. Tatiana is really good at keeping that relaxation going in the right places, and keeping any tension confined to the core muscles during the screams.

Hi, firstly, I just found you & as I am so impressed with your knowledge & reaction style, I’ve just subscribed to your Chanel. Now this is a rather long post, but please bear with me. Your opening remarks were you wanted confidence & a powerful voice. Well, I have an absolute GEM for you. Here goes: A young lady by the name of Amira Willighagen won Holland’s Got Talent at the age of nine, & remarkably had not had a single singing lesson. She taught herself by watching uTube videos featuring the likes of Pavarotti by mimicking the mouth movements and breathing techniques. She was 7 when she started watching the uTube videos. Shortly after her win, she engaged a vocal coach & has since performed in some 20 countries and sung in at least five languages. Amira ticks all the boxes you are looking for. Her confidence on stage is remarkable, even as a nine year old. She has an incredibly powerful but Angelic voice, complimented with a beautiful natural vibrato . Her range is superb & whatever register she’s in, she does so effortlessly and without straining. I’ve listed below 4 of Amira’s performances in order of age for your reaction consideration. ... O Mio Babbino Caro at age 10 ( the performance with Andre Rieu ). The world renown musician/ conductor Andre Rieu invited Amira to perform at Maastricht with an audience of 15,000 who rose as one to give her a standing ovation. ... Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church at age 11. This performance highlights how Amira sings from the inside out, with genuine emotion, & wow, how can an 11 year old produce such power & beauty. ... Nella Fantasia at age 12. Please select the live concert performance. ... Gabriella’s Song at age 14. Again the live concert performance. I sincerely hope this extra long post has conjured up enough interest for you to react to this young Soprano prodigy with the voice of an angel. Cheers Graeme. ps. Her stage presence shows not only confidence, but a calmness usually associated with those with years more experience.

Tatiana is the breath of fresh air that metal music has needed.

I don't think that I'll ever get tired of watching vocal coaches and the like listening and reacting to "Pisces" for the first time!! Besides the full band being extremely talented musicians, Tatiana is arguably the best Metal vocalist ever. No disrespect to all of the other amazing vocalists out there.

This was Jinjer's shock factor video, but it was not even stage performance, it was studio recording session. Tatiana is very good on stage, though. There are plenty of live performances, but I would recommend to react to their "Teacher Teacher", which is an official video made from several stage performances.

You're such a nice reactor and coach, new subscriber in your Channel! Your mind will refreshed if you react to "4TH IMPACT" which created a history in X Factor UK as the most viewed, garnering 176 Million Views, they sang "Bang Bang" by Jessie J. hit song in their first audition.

What you said about water at the beginning got you a sub...lol. Love from Uganda. Also glad you weren't drinking water when she transitioned to the growl.
