I love seeing voice teachers react this and being impressed because they actually understand how much skill is involved. And of course everyone pauses at the same time, at the end of the first verse before the growl :D Tatiana is seriously skilled, and this song is a beautiful intro because it shows her jumping so smoothly between false chord growling and clean singing, but it does not show her most crazy growling

- Mike: That was unbelievable. - Tatiana: That wasn't even my ultimate form. Seriously, Pisces it's a begginers introduction. Tatiana can do lower growls (Home Back; Who's Gonna be the One [live], Pit of Conciousness [live]...), some epic melodic shit (I Speack Astronomy, Perennial [live], Bad Water...), full heavy non-stop stuff (Sit stay roll over, Words of Wisdom, Ape...), and blending with other genres in surprising ways (Judgment & Punishment, Beggar's Dance, this Pisces with those jazzy vibes...). The list it's too long. The resume is "just listen all their stuff". It's a prodigious vocalist, and the rest of the band it's also really talented and they're mastering their sound really well. One of the most exciting bands of the actual metal scene.

So, since you loved Nightwish, Jinjer and you are diving into the metal music field, I would love to wacth some vocal analysis of Wintersun - Sons of Winter and Stars (Live rehearsal at Sonic Pump Studios) and Gojira - Global Warming (Live at Silver Cord Studio) and Arch Enemy - Nemesis (live in Tokyo). I hope you keep the Nightwish and Jinjer reactions (two of my favourite bands) and I would be very grateful if you consider my recommendations. Thanks so much for your reactions, your analysis on the music and the vocals are very nice. Cheers from Spain! PS: Take a look to the JInjer - Perennial (live at Wacken) and Jinjer - Who is Gonna be the one (live). I have seen them twice live, they're some serious musicians.

Just come across this video I love your reaction to her voice unlike other reactors that pause the video stop the flow of music. You just continue to watch dumbfounded and I really appreciate that! people who don’t listen to this music by and large tend to stereotype it as a bunch of yelling but people really need to understand the amount of work and effort that is put into this type of singing is the same amount that is put in to any other type. Countless heavy metal bands push the envelope and expand the boundaries on both what is sonically heard and what is physically capable with the human body when it comes to expressing emotion through voice. You have, in your own small way shed a little bit of light into the world that many of us have lived in. Often in obscurity

You've opened the floodgates now. The Jinjer Army makes its way to any and every reaction video. 3 recommendations: As most people will recommend, "Perennial" live at Wacken open air is, no doubt, Jinjer's most impressive live performance. "Teacher, Teacher", much like Pisces, is one of the best mixes of growl and singing. If you'd like more melodic stuff, "Bad Water" is growl-free and also has some of the greatest bass playing among their songs.
