In today's video, we are checking out Stage Traxx 3, an app for musicians that does everything (or least it feels like it). This app has been the main app that I've been using now, because it can do backing tracks, lyrics, autoscroll, chord charts, transposing, MIDI, looping sections of a song, rearrange backing tracks on the fly, highlight lyrics, playlists, host/joining sessions, and much more. Im an old guy going through your videos like a hungry ma no starving. Back in 1972 there were only stage monitors, nobody had anything to read in front of them and i could see where it would be annoying. We litterally memorized every song every lyric for 3 or 4 sets. And we watched each other that we didn’t drink too much lol. But that was the stone ge compared to this. Thank you. Maybe i can gig again.

I come from the stone age too, that is how old I am but only started to sing in old age and I have memorized all of my 65 songs in 10 languages, so it is possible.... even for a pensioner. If you don't memorize the songs you can't put all your feeling in them, but I can see how useful it is if you really are not able to do it anymore. But... it is good brain gymnastics...

You can send midi out to a lighting controller that receives midi, yup! It doesn’t send DMX directly, but that’s a common way to control lighting!

Awesome review and demos! I appreciate you sharing live "oops!" as well and what can mitigate those. I know I've killed a track accidentally where the dance floor was full and everyone into it. Just had to creep up to the mic with a "my bad, let's start again!" LOL.
