Stand Your Ground with Courage and Love | The Chris Stefanick Show

I can’t wait to share this week’s episode with you guys! First, I talk about how the world will hate you for standing up for what is right-and YOU should do it ANYWAYS. 💪
Next, I share a clip from a talk I gave about how the world hates men who say the word, “NO.” So often in today’s culture, we are called to draw boundaries. We can feel like a tiny David against the Goliath of Cancel Culture and the Internet. The culture tries to weed out men who stand up for the little guy, but it’s important to remain STRONG!
Then, I catch up with Mark Houck. Mark is a husband, father, Catholic, and pro-lifer. You might remember him from last year, when the FBI raided his house early one morning as his family was just waking up and brought him in for defending his son.
Mark Houck gives us the FULL STORY on what exactly happened that morning and why it is so important to be a voice for the most vulnerable members of society. Both as a father, and as a pro-lifer.

Do you pray at abortion clinics? Do you organize peaceful prayer in public? We want our elderly priest to fight the good fight while the young men sit idly at home. Be the change you want to see and don’t judge the clergy.

I went back and watched the video and but for the grace of God, I likely would have done the same thing as Mr. Houck if someone was spewing vile and profane things at my son. However... and here I'll make no friends, is shoving and knocking an older gentleman to the ground acting in the spirit of Christ? Did Christ ever advocate violence? Again, I might've done much worse and I'm very glad that Mr. Houck was acquitted... but... I can't help but think that there was a more Christ-like way to react and that we run the risk of promoting more of the same if we minimize that aspect of all of this. Standing Your Ground with Love is what Chris preached... knocking a 72 year old over... hard to see that as loving though I get the reaction.
