I've been trying to learn how to full tuck off and on for a few years now, I've been close on a trampoline a few times but have never had control over my body and therefor would never be able to successfully repeat it if I did manage one. On flat I end up doing flipping way too much and forgetting to spin (180 flip at most). After watching this video and taking these steps into action, 5 attempts in and I can actually get the rotation around! Now to keep working on it and dial it in, great tutorial!

My question is : if this techniques makes you go a bit sideways, how come girls learn fulls this way for beam ? x)
@TumbleSensei4 жыл бұрын
You only go sideways if you push sideways

@@TumbleSensei I'm quite curious... I always learned and teached to iniate the flip before twisting...
@TumbleSensei4 жыл бұрын
Depends on how fast you need to make the twist and how many twists you need to do. For a full or double you really don't twist until you are up in the air using tilt twisting. But if you need to do triple full, quad full or standing full, you pretty much have to use contact twisting which means you are creating both flipping torque and twisting tourque while still in contact with the ground. The problem with contact twisting is most people forget to fully extend their legs and toes... And this leads to them pushing to the side instead of backwards. So you are correct. Best to learn to flip first. Then twist. This is just a method I use for athletes that have come to me with mental blocks of twisting primarily

Unrelated but... God bless the Lord loves you more than you can ever imagine so much so that he gave his only son to die on the cross to bear our sins so that we'd be completely pardoned from sin and its eternal consequences if we believe he died for our sins and repent from our sinful and worldly ways(turn from and turn to God) - life is short and our only chance to get right with God, take it ❤ YOU CAN DO IT
