There was too much truth in this stand up! As a recovered addict but an NA drop out, I recognize all this too well! Made me laugh till I had tears in my eyes. I wish this talented comedian the absolute best and look forward to more!

As a recovered alcoholic (ten years), you don't actually recover until after you "drop out" of AA or NA. I went for 2 years, then I decided I didn't want to be an alcoholic, so I made a list of all the things alcoholics do and just resolved to not do any of those things any more, which includes going to AA and talking about "my sobriety".

160 days sober. The last couple weeks have been a huge test.. Seems like one thing after another. But I’m pushing through and trying my best. I was trying to find something to distract me and make me laugh. I was trying to watch some stand up and was coming across the same usual boring stuff. This was really good. He has a different way of doing stand up and I can’t really explain it other than it’s just different and good. I hope he succeeds and can get some specials. Glad I came across this I needed that

About 10 years ago Kenny Deforest was missing from his dad's basketball team the night we played them. We took basketball in Springfield mo very serious back then because a lot of people would travel to play at the Missouri state out door courts. And we have 7 or so colleges withing 20 miles of each other. I asked his dad where he was and he told me he moved to new York to do comedy. I was shocked! He didn't seem like he had that type of personality. Even when I clicked the video I wasn't expecting much. I couldn't have been more wrong. Dudes super funny. Btw basketball His dad has to be at least 70 and still plays. We love us some basketball.
