"A job well done", my good sir! Literally the very theme that shaped my childhood in the 90s playing this game and one I consider the best in the entire history of the franchise's music. The nostalgia and awe hits everytime I hear the song begin to open. A wonderful job on this and Happy 30th Anniversary, everyone!

Thank you very much! I know that you are a long-time Star Fox fan, so I'm glad this remix video of mine lived up to your expectations! Indeed, I also consider this iconic theme to be one of the best in the franchise! Glad to hear you enjoyed it! 😄

That was so cool, man! And wow, I like the font that you choose, really cool font like the ones from Nintendo from the 90s. Good job!

Thank you so much!! Yeah, I wanted to preserve the nostalgia with this video, so I used the ending credits from the original game for the background and thumbnail! I'm glad you liked it! 😄

OMG THE LONG AWAITED THEME IS HERE! :D Not only does this remix hit the nostalgia factor from the OG games , you do justice to the instrumental sentimental feel the theme had! Very well done Glitchman! The production of this score is just above beyond any other remix I have heard for this track in all honesty and I can't explain the emotions feeling while listening to this! The video production with the piano graphics and the credits makes the emotional touch even more! this is an absolute masterpiece to listen to, how all the elements like guitar and electric and orchestral components all integrate together nicely while maintaining that true to tone feel of the piece! Really beautiful Glitchman! :D So happy this is finally released! When I heard this segment in your trailer it blew my mind.. This is just an all around amazing score and it blows my mind again with the full production! Really loved listening to this ! :D

Hanabi, thank you so much for your thoughtful and heartfelt comment!! It was a joy to read your positive thoughts about this remix and video! I'm glad you thought that I did justice to the sentimental feel of the original song. That's precisely what I was going for! Actually, I tend to do this a lot with my remixes, I always try to preserve what made the original song special, and try to improve on it if possible with my own instruments and arrangements. Now, the really difficult part is trying to improve a song that's already a masterpiece, and that's how I felt when arranging this song! That's why I didn't stray far from the original song's feel, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Wow, to hear you call my remix a masterpiece, is the best compliment I could ask for! I'm honored! 😊 Thank you for commenting on the video production in particular as well! Since this theme plays during the ending credits of the game, I figured the credits would make the perfect background, and I'm really happy that you felt that it enhanced the emotional feel! Once again, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'll see you around, Hanabi! 🙂

Glitchman, this is incredible!! I had been looking forward to hearing the full version of this song - and seeing the accompanying visuals - since you previewed it in your cinematic Star Fox Assault trailer (which I still can't get enough of, to be honest). And just wow... you really know how to touch the hearts of VGM enthusiasts through the music, video, and even description! First, the music: in a word, phenomenal. From the instrument choices, to the arrangement, the dynamics... everything sounds superb. I love that in the opening, you used instruments reminiscent of the original, with the orchestral brass in that iconic intro, with sustained strings in the first main section. The instruments sound more modern, and crisp, while still preserving the sound style of the OST version, and I love that you've been faithful to the source song (and, by extension, its game's soundtrack) while imbuing the piece with your own creative choices. For instance, it sounds like there's a harpsichord (or maybe acoustic guitar?) in certain parts, especially at 1:29, which provides a delicate touch amidst the mix of rich and full-bodied instruments. And hey, electric guitars absolutely _do_ belong in certain orchestral settings, and while this may not be symphonic metal, they feel right at home in the arrangement. I can tell that you were itching to SHRED with them since your Escape From the City remix, and man, did you do just that! The articulation in the electric guitar is amazing, and even in those fast-running segments, like at 1:22, it can still be heard clearly and precisely. Also, I _love_ how your arrangement deviates from the original in meaningful ways. My favorite instance of this is that unexpected upper harmony in the e-guitar at 0:32 - I know I commented on it in your SFA Cinematic Trailer, but it's just so impactful! And honestly, there are so many instances during this piece where I could see the hairs on my arm standing on end. Truly, excellent work with the music, and you've done a legendary piece great justice with your remixed arrangement. The video looks great, as well, and it really adds to the listening experience. Aside from the nostalgia wave from those credits flying towards the screen amidst a Sector Y background, the piano overlay adds a colorful and appealing touch! The multicolored notes are satisfying to watch, as are the rainbow peak reactors along the piano keys, and someone who relies on sheet music to know what notes are in each part, I appreciate seeing them aligned with the piano notes, color-coded to their respective instruments. And yeah, I completely agree that Star Fox's visuals were really ahead of their time! It's amazing how much work not only the Super FX chip itself put in, but also the work on the developers' part to maximize the hardware and push the system to its limit. Start Fox SNES is a true gem, that's for sure! It's clear through your description and videos that you have a real love and respect for the Star Fox series, and I see that same level of enthusiasm and care for people in the community, too. I truly can't overemphasize what an impact you've had on people in the VGM community, myself included, through your heartfelt and encouraging words, through your stalwart support of others, and through your exemplar remix videos. And it warms my heart tremendously to see people rallying around you with your releases - already there are some familiar names here, and I look forward to seeing many more! Once again, stellar work, my friend! 💛

Wow what a beautiful comment!!! 😍 I gotta say, this is one of the most moving comments I've ever received! It makes me tremendously happy to hear how well received my music and videos are! When I downloaded FL Studio for the first time in 2011, I honestly didn't think I would get into it so much, but boy, am I glad I did. I fondly remember playing around with VST plugins like Sytrus (still my favorite to this day!) and experimenting changing the instruments on certain musical parts, tweaking knobs not really knowing what I was doing, and hearing how it all comes together. It was a way for me to express my creativity, and also my enthusiasm for video game music, especially from Nintendo franchises! To hear that I inspire others is the greatest complement I could receive (I recall that Hanabi also told me something similar 😊). I've also had my own musical inspirations, one of them being PokeRemixStudio. He was the OG Pokémon remixer around here! He has since discontinued making remixes, but I still fondly remember reading his channel description in 2011 which said: "I remix Pokémon music. I use FL Studio 9." I wondered "Hm.. FL Studio, what's that?" And the rest is history. 😉 Around that time, I also discovered the world of MIDI files, and Synthesia, which can play these MIDIs as a piano visualizer, and it instantly became one of my favorite programs, being a piano player myself interested in learning how to play my favorite game music. It all came together in a wonderful way. 😁 I gotta admit, I was looking forward to your comment because I know that you are very detail-oriented, and boy, you did not disappoint! I thoroughly enjoyed reading how you noticed and enjoyed all the details in both the music and video production, such as the extra harmony with the electric guitar, and the acoustic guitar section in the middle! (Yeah, it does sound like a harpsichord, but it's actually an acoustic guitar with a chorus effect. 😁) I'm glad my music video had an impact on you! And thank you for being a positive influence also in the VGM community! That's what we need here, lots of love and positivity! Always be like that! I'll see you around, Equalyze! Take care! 😁

Omg YES. Incredible low end work here, amazing guitars, everything is perfect. Visuals are killer too my friend. You never disappoint! Also I just hit the bell... No wonder I didn't see this when it initially dropped! DX

Hey, thanks a lot Theology! I really appreciate your comment! 😄 I appreciate you commenting on the low end specifically, I sometimes wonder if a track has too much or too little bass, so I'm glad I got it right here! The bassline here actually consists of two parts: a low sustained string ensemble, and a big upright plucked bass which sounds gorgeous and smooth, perfect for orchestral parts! In fact, I may find myself using it in other genres too. I like mixing instruments that are not typical of a particular genre, that's what I did here with the guitars too. Thanks for your support and I'm happy you hit the bell! 🔔 Keep up the good work yourself too! 👍

OH. MY. FREAKING. SHIZZLESTICKS. The english language does not possess a word that describes how incredible, how amazing, how truly, absolutely legendary this remix is, and I unfortunately happen to be a monolingual loser who didn’t learn a single thing from 7 years of Mandarin lessons. Can’t tell if I’m at a loss for words, or ready to write a 1500 word essay on how spectacular this is. I absolutely love the… violin??? Guitar??? I’m not entirely sure what instrument, but it really compliments the rest of the track. Absolutely marvellous job, my mind has been absolutely blown and my braincell count has reached the negatives from the sheer, incomprehensible awesomeness of this masterpiece.

One of my favorite parts about making music and videos like this is bringing joy and positive emotions to others, so your comment made me very happy. 😊 And yes, I did use a combination of violins and guitars together, and I'm glad that you like the way it sounds! Thank you for calling my video a masterpiece, that really means a lot! It's a pleasure to meet you and I hope you'll stick around for future remixes and videos like this!
