Those capillaries should be in an insulated sleeve and put further away from the thermostat terminals. The capillaries should be handled with care as they cas easily break or crack and render that thermostat useless. The terminals will continue to break off if you use terminals from home depot. Home depot terminals are not high temp rated. Also after installing the thermostat you should let the unit get up to temp. Then let it cycle on and off for about a half hour or until the unit stabilizes. Check the flat top temperature with a surface thermometer and calibrate if needed. Wires may looks ok but they should be inspected as wires can become brittle or burned inside the insulation. Faulty wiring will result in thermostats failing and having to be replaced more often than needed.

I hyperventilate when I have to start bending delicate capillary tubing like this. The anxiety of kinking a capillary tubing always gets me worked up. Still learning hot side it’s a lot but it’s amazing. 😂😂

i change the thermostat but turns red on 100 degrees and stop when adjust to 300 why?

Some signal lights turn on when calling for heat. Some turn on when the thermostat satisfies.
