He came up with Joe after 33 years not 43 years. It was Tom Paris who said to the Doctor at the reunion party in the final episode of Endgame, it took you 33 years to come up with Joe.

"Hey Joe where you going with that phaser in your hand" : ) It's OK I'm a holographic Doctor, "stunning isn't it". Fab sense of show time humor and cross timeline cultural connectivity with other genre's a great big party. Check out the statue of Tennyson at Lincoln Cathedral England for more cross references and cultural root connection, especially the Quote on the statue.

voyager was boring but it had good production quality. It holds up really well on dvd.

if you didnt immediate correct him when he says 'more action than a tribble in heat' then you arnt a true trek fan.
