Exactly. Not defending how boring and shit the episode was, except Sol and Osha who keep being my fav in the show. It didn't do anything that hasn't been done before. In ewoks, logray uses the force, and there's a witch who also uses the force, but they see it as "magic". Everyone has their perspective. This episode was so stupid with the death of the witches. I was hoping there would be a lot of potential. I thought it was going to be cool. Even when they introduced the thread. She said some call it the force. Similar to what zeb in rebels did. But then the twins whined and whined and also Mae was just crazy. She wanted to kill osha because she didn’t want her to leave?! And then the fire kills all of them. There wasn’t any fire close to them. They were surrounded but it but there wasn’t anything on them. In the background in the second to last scene Torbin’s face is cut up. There is more that happen that night that was not shown. My guess is Torbin and Indera took out the witches without Sol knowing and covered it up by saying they all got caught in the fire.

Then we see a pile of dead witches, obviously not burned. Hmmm, maybe a fight broke out between the Jedi and the Witches and they just haven't revealed that yet. Because TV and film is about holding back info a building suspense. Also every force user feels and defines force different so the Mother saying it's a thread is legit for her. Like Avar Kris feels the force like a song. Then singing was dumb ofc but I think the main problem fans have with this show is the fact it's women centric and that's coming from a man. It's kinda sad cuz the premises is actually really unique and could've been good. Here's an alternative they could've done: Twins superstitiously are said to have an abnormal connection, but with midoclorians who's to say this link is not more literal in the force? Twins of great force potential are sent to the order where they're taught to disregard their attachments. Easier for others but the twins would struggle deeply especially as they became more separated. One day twin 2 struggling harder is sent on a mission with her master, but it pushes her to the limit and she snaps and swells up with dark energy. In a fit of rage she slaughters her master. The order receiving word of this sends a group to subdue or kill the padawan, but twin 1 can feel this corruption tear at her so she follows in secret. Dramatic moments where twin 1 arrives to hear clashing and as she approaches finds her sister ruthlessly fighting while she's encircled by disciplined warriors. In a tear filled moment she is cut doen without mercy and leaving twin 1 in absolute distress. Until...twin 2's bidy writhing with hatred spilks out as a sudo-force ghost, a black wraith of pure hatred and puppets her broken twin to finish what she started. NOW we have a manhunt for the last twin who clinging to her teaching of the light while her twins spirit haunts her. Flipping good and evil while the good twins master seeks her out desperate to save the rogue padawan. There. Now you have a murderous jeckel & hyde thriller witha dual perspective story of cat & mouse. All the while painting the flawed structure of the order that hints to it's eventual downfalls.

Lol I enjoyed this episode. Does EVERY episode have to be action filled? The first two had lots of action. We don’t know the full story yet and why things happened how they did. Redefining the force?
