As someone who has been to two celebrations as well, 2017 and 2019, make sure you plan to wake up early too. Get to bed early, get to the con early. You'll most likely be in a big line with a ton of people, but early bird gets the worm (exclusives especially) I PROMISE YOU you'll get it. Plan plan plan ahead for how you want to tackle autographs, panels, etc. try not to schedule more than 2-3 autographs a day and space the time out. You might be in line for a while. Don't expect to meet a big name actor then immediately jump in another line to meet another actor. You might be cutting your time short or too close. I did this once, I was fortunate to meet Ray Park and they had to stop the line right AFTER me.

Anaheim Convention Center has lots of space to sit and space out in the hallways between the panel rooms, as well as outside the showrooms. There are even some balconies where you can lounge in patio chairs and look down on the food truck area. It's a good layout that never seems to be too overwhelming

With the Clear pass, from what I understand, everyone is required to do the health screening first (at the Marriot ballroom) where you will scan your pass (or showing Vax card) and get a wristband. Then you can enter the con proper.

Yes, this! Even with the app, you must go to one of the verification locations in advance to get a wristband.

I'm set to be there Sat and Sun, with Sun my only ticketed day being in the con center itself. Sat I'll be wandering around outside to see what's up. It'll be my first ever Celebration and my first con since 2018. I'll be doing some slight cosplay wearing long coat and dual wielding lightsabers. Needless to say I'm a little nervous but also excited. Bummed that Mosh Eisley is sold out so hopefully I can catch you guys at a random encounter!

the new system sounds very fair and interesting.. it was early ,morning, first come first serve for pannels in the last London celebration... but weirdly i got into every single pannel i wanted too and also walked into some with no band etc.... just cause there was free slots. not sure if that was because there was less people ? was great though other thing.. sharpy, notepad, and poster tubes - must have. we got posters after the rouge one pannel then i literally bumped into dave filoni. no sharpy for signing anything but i got a great selfi :D shame cant be there this year... hopefuly the next.. especially if its in Europe :P

Be careful trying to talk to people in the halls after a panel, the ACC security are super prickly about people existing. Been there for many a Blizzcon and they are often a pain. There's a UPS in the Hilton right next door.

You'll still have fun and you can use the LIGHTSPEED lane reservation system (not up yet, but should be in the Celebration app eventually) to get into the overflow rooms for the big panels. I entered into the lottery and only got the 1 panel I wanted the least. In 2019, I watched the Rise of Skywalker panel from the Star Wars Show stage (accessible to all) and it was still a blast to see the trailer with a bunch of other folks, even if we weren't in the panel room.
