something i am just now noticing even though i have seen this film like a million times....When Anakin goes to rescue his mother and finds her barely live and she dies in his arms...he is obviously sad and full of rage....but only Yoda seems to feel his emotions through the force. Obi Won does not sense Anakin's sadness/rage...only Yoda. Star Wars peeps....why was that? Remember when Alderon was destroyed by the Death Star...Obi Won felt the disturbance through the force. Anakin at this point is pretty powerful, not episode iii powerful, but obviously Yoda felt him...

I think Obi-Wan wasn’t as in tune with the force as Yoda who had over 900 years of experience. You have to remember he was still an apprentice when Qui-Gon was killed and was thrust into the role of being a mentor to Anakin. Thrust into the role is a misnomer on my part, as he asked for the responsibility. For that reason Obi-Wan had a blind spot towards Anakin and didn’t see his slow turn to the dark side until it was too late. He still saw Anakin as the sweet little boy he met several years before. When he was “exiled” to Tatooine for lack of a better term he had many years to hone his skills as a Jedi.

I love watching Christopher Lee in anything. This is the second "Count D." character that he has played, since it was the role of Dracula that first really made him a star, and he played it (not counting trivial cameos) in a total of eight movies, which is six more than anybody else has ever done. He was best known for villain roles, though of course those were not all that he played, and my favorite of his villain portrayals is the role of Rochefort in the movies The Three Musketeers and The Four Musketeers, which were made in the seventies with the idea that this would be a single movie, but after filming the producers decided to split it into two and release them a few months apart: they really should be seen together, though, as a single work, and it's hard to exaggerate how great a piece of work it is. It has an all-star cast, and I really want to recommend it to you.

The prequel trilogy is not good. And it didn't suddenly become good over time. You already mentioned the acting and dialogue but that's only half of the problems. The pacing was uneven, the effects are so cartoony that it's comedic at times. Some cool things happened here and there but overall they didn't work. Rogue One is the only quality movie of the newer ones. They told the story perfectly. It was grounded and compelling. Well done, nearly flawless.

@@SurvivorBri I enjoyed the movies from the beginning, didn't take time, including the political aspect of it. Didn't care for Jake Loyd or Hayden, both average actors at best, but you can also look at the first three movies, Mark Hamil was a terrible actor, it's why that aspect of his career never went anywhere. Go watch Corvette Summer, released around '78, it's him on full display and you'll see some bad acting, again. lol As for the pacing, I can agree, but it's Lucas, his only real success has been the SW franchise and American Grafitti. His first three movies weren't some work of art. lol There were too many flaws to even mention, one notable is when he re-released them, during the speederbike chase scene on Endor, it was obvious back then and to this day it was done on the green screen and he still didn't change it. Rogue One was easily the best thing Disney has released, they were bound to get something right, if only by accident. lol

Anakin does balance out the force.. At the time of first three movies, its all light side everywhere.. There has to be some dark side somewhere and not light all the time, and that's what Anakin's role becomes. Once you two see the entire star wars saga and how things go into play with the Ahsoka series, and clone wars, and all that, you'll see how Anakin's eventual role is like a God on earth who in death ascends to be a God that controls the flow of light and dark. It's just while he was mortal he had to spend half his life as good, and half his life as bad in order to bring the balance. Sorry for being long winded..

There is only 5 years age difference between Anakin and Padmé in this movie he is 19 and she is 24, Anakin was too old to start training as a Jedi as he had already formed relationships and attachments the Jedi take children from their family as babies before they have a chance to form any attachments

As a clone wars nerd I must let everyone know yes the clones on screen may look like adults but their not they have double aging so physically they 18 years old but I’m actually they were born 8-9 years before the movie and they are all child slave soldiers

Obi is a great big brother. What Anakin really needed was a dad...Qui-Gon Jinn.

I’m a Star Wars writer and I’ve been writing my own Star Wars story for a while now and the story is inspired from all the other movies and tv shows that I loved and watched.

You know how they aren’t supposed to form attachments as Jedi? The connection to his mother was the first brick to fall.

Sorry people were rude to you both. Franchise fans get a little… sensitive. 🤯

So happy your guys have gone down the star wars rabbit hole!!! Its so awesome I was brought up on the original trilogy so now i need the comics and books to fill in the blanks lol. The journey of a jedi is not to have any attachments to anyone as to not suffer heartache or loss or emotional trauma as all this leads to the dark side and revenge etc therefore living a life committed to the cause and the force means u have nothing to lose or hurt over. Jedi is committed to the balance and peaceful cause. Those that have become Sith Lords for example have all gone through some kind of trauma leading them to the dark side such ass survivors of order 66, watching the other kids getting slaughtered already puts survivors on the cusps as growing up with revenge for Anakin and Palpatine I hope you enjoy the next one - the final trigger for poor Anakin

You guys are in for a damn treat. episode 3 has it all bro, and is by far one of the best of the whole saga. 2 is considered weak in comparison, so imagine hehe. Love that you guys finally got back on.

It doesn't look it in episode 1, but padme and anakin only have a 5 year difference (anakin was 9, padme was 14 when she was a queen). Their ages in episode 2 are 19 (anakin) and 24 (padme). In episode 3 they're 22 (anakin) and 27 (padme).

Padme was 14 when she met anakin and he was 9…not that big of a age difference she just looked a lil older than she was.

One more comment to, somebody probaly already told yall this. But Jango Fetts son, the one who found his fathers head and had that mischieves laugh, is in the original series the one you guys watched before. His name is Boba Fett and he was the one with the green suit, with a jetpack, who was the bounty hunter after Han Solo. So basically this showed his father dying in this one, and he kinda took his place years after as another notorious bounty hunter, who went after Luke Skywalker. He got his own show to the Book of Boba Fett. Just thought that was a really cool part of this movie.
