Just picked up the core set today.

Wel love this game, the core set is awesome giving all players a great leader and troops to play with as well as a taste of the vehicles. Other sets are available as most people like to customize how they fight so why force them all to use what you decide is correct in a "starter" set, the original box is a CORE set in that it has rules, measuring devices, dice, and some terrain and yes some forces for each side so yes you can play right out of the box and your forces come to about half of what a tournament army would be so yes still good options for individualization and collecting hobby for those that want it. I for one love the Sith lord, and will use him for quite some time, do I want a general Veers, of course, but he is a ways off and so am happy with what FFG has provided and look forward to bringing out this dark specter to the battlefield. Thank-you FFG for a great product and the vision to bring it to life for us!

You know, that "farm boy from Tatooine" *used* to be the most iconic _Star Wars_ character and what "hope looks like". Also, we'd seen Darth Vader in action before, just not in his cybernetic suit, in _Revenge of the Sith._

I think what he means is: We've never seen Vader personally fighting against Rebel troopers, and how deadly he is against non-force users, until Rogue One.

@@C-MOG Clarification: while that is true, you are misreading his statement which is an obvious attack on the terrible lump of cinema ever to plague our times and ruin our childhood character of Luke Skywalker. Screw The Last Jedi.
