Is Qui-Gon coming back as a force ghost ?--I can't give you an answer without spoiling you, so I will be a bitch & not answer, only this: you'll have your answer near the end of episode 3. After you'll be done with episode 3 (no more spoilers left), I could give you a better answer. The bounty hunter's kid clone is the bounty hunter that brings Han Solo to Jabba the hut in the OT (episode 5), watch it again, and notice that he kept his dad's ship. it's the same model. Have a nice day. Last thing: when Anakin comes back for his mom, he meets his step brother--that's Luke's uncle Owen & aunt Beru from the start of episode 4--that's why he trusts them to keep Padmé safe. You talking about Yoda fighting--look at him jumping around--try to train with a lightsaber for 800+ years, and you'll be good for sure. no other jedi had this much experience.

There were two scenes before the arena scene, that was cut (this was before the Battle Droid Factory scene as it didn't exist before Post Production). The first was Anakin and Padmé where taken to Count Dooku and while Padmé attempts to convince the count to free Obi-Wan, he tries to persuade her to join The Separists but she refuses so he lets The Geonosean (the termite aliens) leader Poggle the Lesser to take his procedure which leads to the next scene. The second is where Padmé and Anakin are put on trial where Poggle the Lesser have found them guilty of esponage and sentences them to death. Nute Gunray exclaims "Get on with it, I want to see her suffer!" while Count Dooku and the other leaders watch. Those scenes were cut both because they need to quicken the pace to get to the arena and since the Padmé and Dooku scene was done before the Obi-Wan and Dooku scene, you didn't know what happened to Obi-Wan before you got to the arena, plus there was a need for know about the Sith Lord in the Senate and Dooku attempts to perusade Obi-Wan to join him in order to destroy the Sith (similiar to how Vader tries to get Luke on his side to take down Sidious).

I'm not sure if you realized that but Count Dooku is played by Sir Christopher Lee who played Saruman in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies (I recommend you to react to them as well). He was in over 200 movies and TV productions and before Star Wars and Tolkien trilogies, he played the title character in the James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun, Dracula and Frankenstein's Monster in Hammer's Horror Movies (in which Peter Cushing, who played Moff Tarkin in Epsiode IV: A New Hope, was Lee's friend and played Van Helsing in Dracula).

It was already established before Ep 1/2/3 came out that the Emperor's name was Palpatine (don't think it was stated in the movies, but it was in ancillary media). So, it's obviously intended that in Ep 1, the moment Padma lands and meets "Senator Palpatine", at least the pre-existing fans would immediately twig and be like "wait...". So e.g. when he maneuvers Padme into setting into the motion the events that lead to him being elevated to Chancellor...

funny you mentioned Qui-Gon and the force ghost, but thats a story for another video. The clone boba fett is the same bounty hunter from the original trilogy. The clones are the precursor to the storm troopers, and its also a sensitive subject that they were born and bred for war and nothing else in the story as well since they are essentially an army of slaves. Anakin did not visit his mom in the ten years because the Jedi don't allow attachments. Another fun fact, Yoda was Dooku's master, Dooku was Qui- Gon's, Qui- Gon was Obi- Wan's and Obi- Wan is Anakin's. Boba Fett does appear in the clone wars tv show. Dooku wanted Obi- Wan to help him because its expected for Sith to try and overthrow their masters, as Yoda said, always two there are, a master and an apprentice.

I know you've already seen Ep 3 by the time of this comment, but you seemed a bit confused as to who was the good and bad guys in this movie. You predicted Darth Sidious is Palpatine / the Emperor. Palpatine and Dooku were each playing two roles. To the public, Chancellor Palpatine is the beloved leader of the Republic, and Count Dooku is a former Jedi Master, and Council Member, who got disillusioned by the Order, and left them to become the public leader of the Separatists. He got Jedi Sifo Dyas to place the order for the Clone Army, then later had him killed. Under his Sith name, he recruited Jango Fett as the clone template DNA. Privately, Darth Sidious, in his guise as Palpatine works with his apprentice Darth Tyrannus (Count Dooku) to start an ALL OUT Galactic war. The war itself is a JEDI TRAP. It's the end point in a 1000 year Sith plan. For 1000 years, the Jedi have believed the Sith extinct. They were not. They went from an ARMY, like the Jedi, to the Rule Of Two; one master, and one apprentice. They work from the shadows to strategically destabalise, to force the Republic to do something they don't want to, fuelling the fire for independence from the Republic. This provides the justification for a heavy military response from the Republic, which fuels the Separatist movement, which will lead to war. They control BOTH sides of the war. Previously, the Sith had diluted their power by becoming too much like the Jedi Order. By returning to the Rule Of Two, it allowed both Sith to fully harness the Dark Side, and restore long forgotten abilities. The Jedi have spent the previous 1000 years training future generations of Jedi to fight an extinct generation of Sith. The Sith are MUCH more powerful than the Jedi can possibly imagine at this point. In Ep 3, as Yoda is fighting Sidious in the Senate Chamber, Yoda has an epiphany, that they have lost. He knows that they have no choice but to survive, regroup, and go into exile. It's the only way the Jedi may survive. The war was only the final stage in the Sith masterplan. Sidious was the guy in the hot seat to bring it to fruition, and execute it. Forcing the Jedi into becoming Generals and Comanders on the front lines, leading Republic Forces on a battlefield in a war, goes against their very principles. They are PEACEKEEPERS. They are conditioned to try and NOT fight, if possible. The longer the war goes, the more Jedi die, the easier it will be to deal with survivors after Order 66.

One thing a number of new viewers to Star Wars have is they over think everything. Star Wars was created for younger people thus the stories are meant to be more simple than more adult dramas. Lucas was always big on keeping everything understandable for the 10 to 15 year olds while attracting late teens to early 20s. Reactors tend to be older adults that are use to more complex stories. Star Wars it not complex at all. Only people in the fandom have made things more complex by adding their own head canon as well as some of the books and other things that were created but not part of the storyline.
@EmmyReacts3 ай бұрын
That is a really good point! I noticed it myself after this movie that I was probably overthinking and to remember that these are kids movies 😂
@WilliamMoses3552 ай бұрын
Plenty of "simple kid stories" have depth and complexity for people willing think about them on that level. Pinocchio, The Lion King and The Last Airbender come to mind. They don't appeal to kids because they're simple, but because they show complex themes in terms kids can grok.
@rnkelly362 ай бұрын
@@WilliamMoses355 Maybe the word simple bothers you but these are not the Homeric Hymns. The Last Airbender in fact is written for the age progression of a normal 10 to 11 year old until 15 or 16 by the end of the series. Korra is written for the late teenager age group. During story creation you have to target your writing to whatever group you are trying to program your show for. Star Wars was always written as simple moral questions. Good vs bad. Dark vs light. It only gets more complicated as the view grows up and tries to age what they are viewing with them. The moral lessons are quite simple to anyone that has read or understood some of the basic Greek tales. Lucas knew what he wanted back in the day and pretty much the people creating SW content stuck with it. Fantasy programming focused at kids that younger adults could watch. The only thing is we kids grew up and we try to grow the show with us and it has created a toxic fan culture because of it. We have to continue to thing of SW as a kids enjoyment. Its nice that they have thrown us a bone from time to time but Lucas never wanted things like Andor or Rogue One. They were too serious in his view and missed the roller coaster ride enjoyment that he was trying to copy from the movie serials of the 40s and 50s.

Do you plan on watching The Clone Wars series? Timeline wise, the entirety of the series happens between this movie and the next. I'm certainly not suggesting that you watch 8 seasons of show and a movie before EP 3, but I do highly recommend watching it. If you do, I'd recommend watching 3-4 episodes per reaction video. Also, if you do watch it, there's a specific order to watch them. When it comes to the 6 movies I recommended watching them in release order, but specifically for the clone Wars series and movie I recommend watching them in chronological order. So it bounces around and the story is not told linearly, so if you do react to clone wars, I would recommend doing a Google search for the order in which to watch the episodes and movies, you have to watch like three or four or five episodes, before the movie, and sometimes you'll be watching an episode from season 2 in the middle of watching season 1 for example.
@IggyStardust19673 ай бұрын

Okay, Emmy, I'm here, on time, and ready to give you some things you may have missed. Again, spoiler free for what's to come. OH! Before I forget.... at this point, go in "timeline order" for the movies. So, after Episode III, would be Solo: A Star Wars Story, then Rogue One, then re-watch the OT (yes, I will be there for it) for the additional context. Then you can go on to the Sequel Trilogy... after those (and many people WILL hate on them, just a warning)... you can go back and do the series' in timeline order. I'll post it at the bottom (or, if I have to split the comment due to buffer limits, there). 1:45 - I *REALLY* don't want to spoil anything... but the prophecy was "The Chosen One will bring BALANCE to The Force." So, keep that in mind. I can't explain it now... but I will later on. 4:55 - She was in another movie at a young age: "Leon: The Professional". Great movie! Well worth a watch sometime. 5:40 - 10 years have passed since Episode I, so Anakin would now be 19, Padme would be 24. 12:20 - While this is never stated in canon, they are basically focused plasma beams. Similar to lightsabers, but guns. 14:00 - The first rule of hiring an assassin: Kill the assassin if they get caught. 16:10 - Anakin in 19 years old, and has been told to repress his feelings, while "teenage hormones" are running rampant through his system and emotions. As much crap as Hayden got for this movie, he was spot on with acting like a repressed teenager. 18:50 - "Truly wonderful, the mind of a child, is." Yoda spitting FACTS! Children have not yet been programmed to think within a box. I'm lucky, I learned to burn the box when I was young, so I still think outside of it. ;) 21:00 - No spoilers (okay, maybe a very minor one), but you'll learn more about Syfo Dias later on, if you continue this journey. 22:30 - Okay, disturbing real life fact: We humans have successfully cloned animals in the past. Googe "Dolly the Sheep" for that story. Also, there was a MASSIVE debate about the potential of cloning humans (before this movie came out). IIRC, there was an international treaty that banned human cloning in our world. But who knows.... it could have happened. 23:05 - No. These are Clone Troopers. MUCH more dangerous than Stormtroopers (who were either conscripts or volunteers). 24:30 - Remember what I said about paying attention to the dialogue..... this is important information. 40:00 - Notice how things get VERY clouded here. Shades of gray are introduced into the equation. Remember this line from Return of the Jedi, and keep it in your head: "You're going to find that many of the truths we cling to, depend greatly on our own point of view." Also, in the real world, "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." 45:55 - Remember what I just said above. This feeling you have is intentional. 56:00 - I have said it many times, "Sometimes, the biggest lie you can tell, is the truth." Notice they don't believe what Dooku said, even though it IS true. So they disregard it as a lie.
