The Phantom Menace is my favourite movie in the Star Wars Saga. This is because Anakin Skywalker is a highly cute little boy and Obi Wan Kenobi is an extermemly cute jedi. I want to say a big AAAAWWWW!!!!! To the 2 of them

Due to Yoda`s species` natural affinity for the Force, they live far longer than humans. Around this time,Yoda was 700, in Episodes II and III he was 800 and in "Return of the Jedi" he dies at about 902.

Liam Neeson`s character is Qui-Gon Jinn. It comes from the Arabic word for "Genie".(Djinn)Liam Neeson despite being raised Catholic in Northern Ireland is fascinated with Islam and Arabic culture IRL.

This was the first Star Wars film I saw in theaters. I was actually introduced to the Star Wars Universe through a spoof called "Hardware Wars" so I knew not to take the films overly much seriously. I love them but they`re old-fashioned,campy 1930s-style space operas that just happened to be made in the `70s,`80s,`90s and `00s.

In the lore, Jedi younglings and counselors generally start off with white sabers representing the Jedi Order`s desire for peace,balance and impartiality. Blue sabers are used by Jedi guardians and most padawans(Apprentices)representing calm,focus and discipline. Purple sabers represent Jedi who struggle with the Dark Side within themselves, usually Sith defectors which as you can probably imagine are extremely rare as it is far easier for a lightsider to fall to darkness than be redeemed from it. Green sabers usually favored by Jedi masters and particularly skilled Knights represent the harmony of all life in the living and cosmic Force .Red sabers usually used by Sith and other Dark Siders represent hatred,imbalance and bloodlust. Yellow sabers more rarely used by Dark Siders and also used by Jedi sentinels(Many of whom were later turned to the Dark Side as Inquisitors hunting their former Jedi comrades to extinction for Vader) represent fear and domination. Also, yellow sabers are somewhat more rarely used by Jedi who come from the Dark Side but choose the Light regardless.

The Phantom Menace is no one's favorite, and it leans a lot more into the politics and the gungans/jar jar are just...there. I won't say Episode 2 is that much better, but episode 3 is one of the best. The prequels (1-3) are a lot of world building and fleshing out the universe so it can feel a bit overwhelming at times. Obviously there's 9 main movies, but there's also the two standalone movies, currently 4 animated shows, 4 live action shows, and a bunch more on the way. There's no shortage of content so the best time to get into star wars is now. I say stick with chronological and you can decide how much you want to get invested with the TV shows since some are pretty long.

Hey Bro, STOP!! If you’re watching StarWars for the first time you need to watch the movies in RELEASE order, not chronological order. In other words you need to start with episodes 4, 5 & 6 then 1, 2 & 3 and after that you watch Episode 7, Rogue One then episodes 8&9. Otherwise you will get confused and discouraged and ruing your viewing experience!!

I don't really know what would be confusing about watching in chronological order. I know people have strong opinions about prequels vs OG but there's plenty of people who enjoy the prequels and are watching in chronological order. It's honestly more confusing as a first time watching to have to jump around so much. There are different ways to watch (chronological. release, machete, etc) and they're all valid. If George himself says "start with one, that's the way to do it right" I'll agree with the creator. Star wars is already complicated enough, no need to complicate how you watch it.

@@mackmitchell94 Yeah... that's why Lucas started with Episode 4. 🙄
@1993MovieMan Жыл бұрын
@@rickardroach9075 Actually,Lucas by his own admission started with Episode 4 because the technology to make the backstory wasn`t there yet in the `70s and `80s.
