"I will avenge his death" "Revenge is not the Jedi way" "I'm no Jedi" Single-handedly one of my favorite interactions in the franchise besides the end of Anakin and Obi-Wan. Honestly, it's a shame so many people slept on Rebels while just like Clone Wars, it contains some of the best Star Wars content. Incredible reaction as always, your level of hype that we all shared when watching this for the first time is a real treat. Does everyone really view Anakin/Vader as split personalities and not just a tragic person who made bad choices and then went all the way in? I don't see them as separate people. He is Anakin he has just suppressed his humanity and given in to the dark side, but he is the same person. - to me anyway.

Dave Filoni (Creator of Ahsoka, Clone Wars, and Rebels) said that Ahsoka couldn’t redeem Vader, only Luke or Leia could because they are his children. But he also said that seeing Ahsoka did briefly awaken Anakin within Vader, but only fleetingly. You can see it in Vader’s eye for an instance. So Ahsoka could’nt bring Anakin back, but she did briefly awaken him.
@TenToAceStudios
@TenToAceStudios 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, she could never save him cause she is his past, Vader hates his past and wants to destroy everything that reminds him of it. His children are his future, the possibility that things might not be so bad, Vader had lost all hope, he had nothing left to hope for. Luke and leia’s existence made Vader feel like he had something to fight for again other than just doing the emperor’s will

Well, the question here is "Is really Ahsoka alive"? Remember this is a Temple, and temples are usually haunted by ghosts of the force or spirits from the past. There's a lot of cool tidbits all surrounding this episode. Maul's seeming care for Ezra is genuine. He knows his days of power controlling vast networks of the underworld are over. He tried and failed to get revenge on both Sidious and Obi-Wan. What lasting impact has he had on the galaxy? Nothing. His mother, brother, and people are all dead. Much older now, he wants to leave his mark and have a legacy that will be remembered. Maul hopes Ezra will be that legacy. Anakin taught Ahsoka to fight much larger and heavier opponents like Grievous during the Clone Wars, ironically foes exactly like Vader. That Convor, the bird, from the finale of Clone Wars and a few episodes ago shows up again at the end watching Vader. There's definitely significance there. And Ahsoka's fate...? You will get an answer if she lives or dies by the end of the series, you'll just have to wait like we all did.

I dont think Ahsoka would be able to get the anakin out of his even if she tried to talk him out of it unlike Luke. Because even tho ahsoka was a very close person in his life its just not as the same as his son whom he thought died with his wife, all the excitement and dreams he had of them living as a family with his wife and kids all became shattered when palpatine told him that padme died (he thought the kid/s died with her as well) so he was a depressed man dead inside with no optimism or anything in life, just serving his master and continuing the sith lineage. But when he heard of Luke Skywalker, all of a sudden he wasnt a dead man anymore but wanted to achieve greater by killing palpatine and ruling the galaxy with his son.

It’s hard to tell if Ahsoka actually believed Anakin was Vader. She’s struggled with that for a while, and even when she confronts him she says there’s no way you’re my master, and Vader says he destroyed Anakin Skywalker. So imo, Ahsoka is fighting that whole fight thinking she’s avenging him, only to break his mask and see it really is Anakin. Fuckin heartbreaking, AND I LOVE IT

I believe someone did an edit for the this episode. When Vader says, “Asohka.” They turned his eyes back to blue to show that it really was Anakin. Then when he turns back to Vader they turn back to red. It’s looks super well done if anyone wants to look it up.

Awesome reaction. 👍 When answering a question about Padmé, George Lucas made it _very_ clear, (and so has Dave Filoni, as well,) that _nobody,_ (not even Ahsoka,) besides Luke Skywalker could have "pulled Anakin out" of Vader. It took Luke, during those very specific circumstances, on board the second Death Star, in front of Emperor Palpatine himself, to throw his lightsaber away and refuse to kill his own father to demonstrate to Vader exactly what he was willing to sacrifice, in order for Anakin to realize that there actually was enough good in him, like both Padmé and Luke believed, to save him from Darth Vader. (Himself) He was so deep down the Darth Vader rabbit hole by the time he was encased inside his suit after his Duel with Obi-Wan on Mustafar that it would only ever be Luke who could snap him out of it. The love of his own Son, all those years later, and nobody else. (No matter how much we would love to believe that Ahsoka, or anyone else, could have as well.) I'm just sayin' 🤜 💥 🤛

I was one of the Star Wars fans that grew up with clone wars and never gave rebels the chance it deserved. I later watched a ton of scenes but I never watched all episodes. So this makes your journey even more entertaining as it’s a journey for me too. I love your content pls keep it up!! Greetings A Star Wars fan

Vader subconsciously uses a force power constantly. The power itself is called Force Terror; Vader causes the majority of people in close proximity to feel very...uneasy, and if he really wanted to he could make them all literally sh*t their pants and run screaming just by using this force power. Most of the time he just emits a little of it to keep Imperial officers and his troops on their toes, but when he's facing an enemy in combat or is interrogating someone for example he uses it to its fullest extent. Against other Sith it isn't so effective (unless he's alot more powerful than they are) but it does have some effect on Jedi as well. And of course, he's just Vader, so I'm sure they are afraid of him.
