That's definitely James Earl Jones' voice. His voice isn't the same as it was thirty years ago, but its still iconic.

The only reason why I will entertain any Star Wars cartoons is: James Earl Jones. He is, and always has been, Darth Vader. It would have done wonders for race relations if and when Luke Skywalker took off Vader's mask and helmet and lo, & behold, saw a BLACK MAN! ✊🏿💪🏿👊🏿🖖🏿🤟🏿🤙🏿✌🏿

Im glad that James Earl Jones only played vader in this and didnt switch voice actors in later episodes. Nobody can replace that spectacular voice.

James Earl Jone's voice for Vader has honestly aged like a fine wine. I honestly feel his voice in Rebels is far more menacing , not to imply the original is not good though.

I just realised that theres an ambiguity in this threat the emperor sensed. Sure, the children of the force can be taken literally to mean the events that ezra influences within the Rebels TV show, but it could also mean the children of the chosen one who's destiny it is to bring balance to the force, so here maybe Vader is ignorantly foreshadowing Luke and Leia. Maybe the emperor's downfall was misreading a vision/prophecy/disturbance in the force in the same way that it was the Jedi's...

I want to see the Inquisitor get choked like this - Darth Sidious - Force Choke - by Darth Vader for a simple mistake. I want to see the Inquisitor fear Vader so people know that Vader is still the ultimate bad guy.

Well, thats not how the Inquisitor dies. After losing a lightsaber fight, he falls down into an exploding hyper space engine. His last words, "There are worse thing then Death." Apparently he'd rather die than face Darth Vader with his failure.

Squee36 James Earl Jones is great and all, but he doesn't sound as awesome as he did 30 years ago. I honestly would've preferred the Chad Vader voice actor, he's been pretty good.

They never edit James Earl Jone's voice because that's how deep his voice is... In 30 years though, your voice dries out, so the rasp you hear is most likely from that. I think it sounds creepier and gave it a new atmosphere for this series

roadkillz78 thanks for the info, though it doesn't really say if their sith or not, despite using the dark side of the force. I mean, was under the impression Palpatine & Vader adhered to the "Rule of Two" rule.

Derek Bates The rule is only for Sith and Sith teachings. They can keep other darksiders as agents and underlings, as long as they don't reveal their secrets to them. This happens more than once, though, like Dooku with Asajj and Savage. There were also several Jedi in TCW that fell to the dark side, that didn't make them Sith.
