Star Wars is ageless. I have been watching reactions. Everyone from the high school kids of today to those who saw the originals in the theaters are shaking with excitement. Its wonderful. I cried and had to watch the trailer 3 times. You may disagree, but Star Wars is one of the greatest stories ever told.

FYI they are already shooting episode 8, and Rouge 1 (star wars anthology movie). So we know the next trilogy will be the greatest stories ever told.

The younger generation will never understand how long the older generation has waited for this. I saw the original trilogy in the theater from 1977 to 1983 32 yrs is a long time to wait for Episode 7. Your reaction was nothing compared to a fan of 37 yrs.

+Firestepher G WOW cool to meet a long time fan, i really like your point of view.. now let me tell you why i think my reaction is as good or even better =) You see when i was a kid i was not really social or anything like that and i was always kinda of a loner and i didnt have any friends. Then 1 day when i was 7 i saw Star Wars Episode 1 and as a child i was hooked right then on this magical saga. Everything From The Jedi mythology to the streets of loathal =) and then i saw Episode II and then i got the original trilogy and i couldn't wait for Episode III later on =) Star Wars open me up as a person and made think outside the box with larger then life plots and settings and made me open up to people because i wanted friends like in the movie =) Star Wars is and always will be that thing that defines me and will always be in my heart ... I love more then anything so yeah haha I think my reaction is as good if not better because Star Wars made me choose my profession in life, witch is Film making, as well as giving me my love for the endless cosmos and made me think about sop many cool things and made such a fucking nerd haha i love it, so yeah there you have .. Ma'am have a nice day =) dont think you have somethig better because you've been with it longer =) that's not always the case ;)

+Firestepher G That is utterly pretentious and anti generational torch passing, bridging between fan gens, I may not be any dusty, old, get to be a hipster extra cool old guy automatically because you saw Star Wars in its original theatrical release and have been a fan for so long, I may not have gotten to see any of them but I, like you, know what it is to be an OT fan from VHS days in the late 80's and early 90's and be a fan from before the PT, into EU novels, games, desperately awaiting any whisper of new material in a pre internet era, hoping mainly for a Jedi sequel based on something great written for the EU, we were disappointed greatly I think still to hear of prequels at first, but the news and trailers won most of us over, gave us small glimmers of the same feeling we get from these 3 new trailers, but not nearly close, so when it came out, the CG, awful casting for some roles, space politics no one asked for despite our great curiosity about the republic spoken of in the OT, Lucas boring blew that, I know that build up of being an OT fan to wait for that, and get nothing close to what it was supposed to be, a story of how Luke and Leia, the Empire, how the Emperor rose, how the Jedi fell, and most important, the that more machine than man we knew, both dreaded and loved, known as Darth Vader, what he'd been built up as, what we knew of him and the little of his past mentioned, how the man Anakin Skywalker became him, Hayden Christiansen, Jake, Lucas, writers, all of them, utterly failed in that, its irreconcilable for OT fans, I understand that, and while this young mans generation can't help but be somewhat apart from that as opposed our fandom from before the PT mess, so they give the PT a greater benefit of a doubt, and indeed it is more liked and less hated by them, they love the Clone Wars series, I know as an OT fan its why I love "SWRebels" so much because like this new film, it captures the old magic of the OT no matter who its made for, young or adult, so if we all well up, get heart string plucks, choke in our throats, glaze with tears alike at this trailer as fans, does that not speak to you that the universal love, understanding of Star Wars, is more important than your own damn personal nostalgia club? I mean you sound like Woody being a dick to his friends again when he learns he's a days gone beloved Americana icon and collectible, what sets you apart as a fan? your reaction was different? how so? did you clutch your chest more because of how deep and serious this is, from being older? was oxygen required? so the literal physiological health effects? is that what you mean? try not to cry yourself into a coma on opening night in your theatre seat as many of you (exclusive, people who were fans before PT clubbers) are risking even though you can see the trailer affects us hardcore fans (which is most on a personal emotional level, and they don't have to have been born before 77' or own a single piece of SW merchandise to stay true to that, something you clearly don't capacitate in your set apart single mindedness) you can see it affects us all equally dick

I hate the Clone wars CGI show, but I loved animated "Star Wars: Clone wars" and yes star wars rebels is an amazing show !!! Love your reaction young man! I felt this way too when I saw the trailer. It's so special to see how this movie and franchise has transcended boundaries of generations. I was 8 years old when A New Hope was released in 1977. I will never forget the day my mother took me to see it. It changed me and others when were exposed to another galaxy far far away. The John Williams movie score and groundbreaking special effects were a first of it's kind. To have lived through all the trilogies and this new one is very special. It's so nice to see how my favorite movie as a child has passed on to another generation. I felt like an 8 year old again when I saw this trailer and movie. And yes tears welled up in my eyes. Why? I guess because when you get older you forget how to be a child with that hopeful wondrous excitement and discovery one has at that age. After a number of trailers later and seeing the new movie it gave me that feeling again.

I have seen many reactions of this trailer and I have kind of seen several "fake" reactions. Basically people overreacting to get more views. I am not claiming this one is fake though. It was so funny when you just kept on getting more excited by every shot in the trailer which eventually led to the nerdgasm. Had a similar reaction lol but not that extreme lol
