Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Trailer Music [HQ Trailer Edit]

Guys, I'd love to be humble here, but I'm pretty sure that this is the cleanest full version on KZbin right now. No vocals, no weird cut-offs.
So this is the music from the new trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" (sometimes wrongly branded Trailer #2), as usual taken directly from the trailer with some of the original sound effects. This one was more tricky than usual, mostly because there were some heavy echoes all over the trailer audio in the beginning and ending, which are always hard to remove. This is why these parts sound a bit weird if you listen closely (most notably Rey's last line). Maybe with another day of working on it I could have improved the result a bit more, but I wanted to have this video up as soon as possible. I made the usual adjustments for volume consistency and edited out as many sound effects as I could, the exception being the weapons sounds in the Finn vs. Phasma scene, which I deliberately left in here.
As for the artist info: Twelve Titans Music seems to be at least behind the track from 0:25 to 1:25, although the one after that until 2:00 also sounds very much like their style. Composers Cesc Vila from Trailer Rebel / Cavalry as well as David James Rosen from Totem also contributed reinterpretations / arrangements of John Williams score, although it is unclear which specific parts of the trailer music they did. All of this is almost certainly custom made so probably none of this will get an official public release, but Twelve Titans and Totem have released some of their library music. What this video shows (aside from a great music only edit) is how well the trailer works on its own as a visual/sound combo; without dialogue but still with enough form to give the viewer an idea of the movie and get them excited. Which more trailers (not every, but more) could strive to do. Great audio mixing of course!

Thank you, appreciate it! :) There's no one-method formula, basically I just look at what works best for a specific part of the audio. A 5.1 mix of the trailer helped for some parts but others needed a lot of custom work, combination of audio effects, frequency editing, audio channel switching with adjustment for phase issues and more...

The volume balancing can be done with any A/V editing software supporting volume envelopes. I also added a bunch of audio FX and did some regular editing, both of which can also be done with most A/V editing software. In my case that's Sony Vegas because I'm just used to its UI but I'm sure there are plenty of alternatives. ;)

Thanks! :) As for the composer: Not Williams, I wrote all info on the artist in the video description. ;) This is trailer music, it is entirely separate from a film's score. Copying what I wrote in a reply to another comment on this video about this music not being on the soundtrack: Pretty much always the case with trailer music. Trailer music is produced by different parties than the soundtrack, mostly the soundtrack isn't even finished by the time the trailer needs a track. I assume the legal situation is also very different from the soundtrack that is directly commissioned by the film's production team instead of the separate trailer house that makes the trailer. The one and only exception to the rule that I know is Confidential Music's track from the Suicide Squad trailer, but that was the movie that was edited in part by the marketing team, so that's a different beast altogether anyway.^^

With a good mix of the trailer, most of the vocals are in another channel and easy to remove with just about any A/V editing software. I had to re-balance the volume afterwards though and do a lot of custom work, combination of audio effects, frequency editing, audio channel switching with adjustment for phase issues and more for the leftover vocals and sounds... Most A/V editing software should be able to let you do that, it just needs support for audio effects, envelopes and multiple tracks.
