The fun thing about these TOR cinematics is that they've been done in quite an objective manner, meaning that creators were not "one's side". That Jedi Master was strong, but the Sith were simply more powerful, especially the younger one. I'd even dare to say that it's a very close thing to something that'd happen if this occured in real life. I'm saying that in one on one battle, the Sith would definitely prevail over any Jedi simply due to the reason of Sith being way more powerful than any Jedi. It's like arm wrestling: no matter the skill you have, if the opponent is way above your strength level, you lose.

You shouldn't comment if you don't know what you are talking about. This fight is occuring when the sith and the jedi masters are negotiating. The only jedi left at the temple were essentially padawans while the jedi masters were at the meeting. The jedi will always be, collectively, stronger than the sith because the sith only care about their own personal power and will stop at nothing, including, killing their own for greater power while the jedi only care about the collective good. The sith is a far more seductive side of the force and you can quickly become more powerful but the jedi and sith one on one, both maxed out, would be a draw. I believe this is why lucas made sidious and yoda be a tie.

The jedi have almost always ruled the galaxy except for a fraction of the time. The jedi are more powerful than the sith because the jedi will sacrifice themselves for the common good. The sith don't care about anybody but themselves and will stop at nothing to further their own personal power even if it means harming the sith as a whole.
