You can’t do whatever you want in the courtroom. The judge had to yell at Trump to sit down because he tried to leave without being dismissed. Also, when you’re on the stand, you can’t talk about whatever you want and the lawyer cannot ask whatever they want. It’s a controlled environment and it’s not controlled by Trump. I think he interprets that as being hated or mistreated. Even though, in reality, Trump is the one who isn’t behaving normally under the circumstances. Similar to when he walked in front of the queen or when he assumed the wife of Poland’s prime minister would shake his hand before Melania’s. Not being treated like a king doesn’t equal being mistreated or hated. I think reasonable people can understand that. Overindulging his inflated sense of self doesn’t help him when he has cross over the threshold from golden toilets into what we all know to be everyday American life.
