Well, it went underground, too, and with all the minibombs it contained, ALL of that explosive-force, contained by the narrow tunnels, left a LOT of energy needing to be released. First of all. It is different from the book, I know! But...Only infantry? No mechanized troops? They really think air supremacy is enough? I mean: bugs live undeground, don't they? Yeah, yeah, they didn't have to budget I suppose... But come on! At least transportations...You cannot expect me to belive that soldiers could march under the sun, fully equipped like that and not suffering extreme exaustion at some point. Second. 3:44 how that woman didn't die for shock after THIS! it's beyond my comprehension. Are those soldier all on some kind of futuristic medication that nullify pain? Nope! Forget the question: she clearly screamed in pain...Yep! 3:46 right here! She did. So: how the human body works in this movie? But what do I know? I am not a doctor. Third. 4:00 No please explain me! We just saw that they had rocket launchers and his best strategy was to jump on the damn thing (shell looks pretty slippery by the way, what is under this piravate's booths, glue and nails?), doing a rodeo number, open a breach in the shell and throw a granade inside. I suppose they gave just one rocket to the entire unit... But, why did he blow up the abdomen? WHY?! They did a litteral commercial to say "go for the head" and "even if you destroy part of the body, they are still lethal". After he managed somehow to stay on top of that beetle thing, he attacked the lower body? And somehow, misteriously, that bug that looks way tougher than ordinary aracnid, stopped moving. Wooooohoooo! No! That doesn't make any sense to me sorry. Hollywood...

@a1marine105 Жыл бұрын

Also regarding the rpg I don't think anyone was near where he could get an rpg from so he basically was moving on his feet and don't forget the other soldiers were busy trying to take cover or avoid getting turned into a human rotisserie even then if he wanted an rpg he would have to chase somone down and risk being cooked so I woudnt criticize this seen too hard as there was some logic in it....well at least from this clip

To paraphrase TheChieftain... when you're able to take the first shot, you are usually calm, collected, and able to adjust off your first shot. When a bug swings at you, you're having a significant emotional event, so your counter attack is going to be rushed, and hurried, and accuracy is going out the window.
