can you believe it's 2022?! I can't wait to hear the one thing you're going to do to take care of yourself this year! 🥰 that's all you have to do to be entered in the giveaway! I decided to also giveaway the new Wellness Method(!!!!!) along with the chlorophyll water + cup + iHerb gift card! Just a fun little way to have some fun because who doesn't love a giveaway ✨ so tell me...what are you going to do?! for me, it's making my mornings more intentional than ever before. I never realized how much I love the sunrise until I started waking up to see it...I love how awake I feel looking into the sun, how the town still feels sleepy and quiet...there's nothing like the stillness of the morning. cheers to 2022...I can't wait for all the fun we're going to have this year together 💫🌞🤍

This year for me it’s about making sure to put God first, and love myself through the process. I just turned 50. I have grown kids, and an 11 year old. I have 5 grandkids and another on the way. I want to be at optimal health. I want it to be sustainable. No more diets. I would love to win ! How exciting. You are a delight.

Hi Cambria! Always love seeing when you upload a new video. For 2022, I am focusing on being the best version of myself. I really connected with you in previous videos when you would mention days that you missed a workout and you'd feel defeated and feeling like you have to start over. I used to feel like I had to workout EVERY DAY in order to be successful and get fit and healthy. I've learned over the years that it's not about doing it every day and marking it off the list, but more so listening to my body and giving it rest when it needs it. I want to carry this mindset with me to this year, and exercise when I feel like it. I don't want to get set in this mindset of failing if I miss a workout. To me, it's about having a healthy lifestyle and I've been able to keep going because I don't think of myself as a failure if I need rest. I love my body and appreciate everything it does. You've really helped me realize that over the years. "Getting fit" would sometimes put me in a weird mindset that I couldn't slip up, ever. I am so happy I am learning how to navigate this lifestyle now and flourish. Have a blessed day everyone, and thank you for the beautiful video Cambria. Lots of love! Ashley

With a full plate of working full time, homeschooling my child, homesteading on our small farm, house keeping, leading our youth group at church with my husband, all things I am so grateful for, I need to let go of the comparison the perfect image of what it ‘should’ look like. How my home should look, how my body should look, how out school time should look. You can’t have perfection and abundant life in the same place. Letting go of the control I have been holding on to and finding who I am in Christ has been the major thing I have started to work on this year. I have already been tested a couple of times. I did okay, better than I would have in the last, but not as good as I should. It’s all in the progress. Thank you for this video Cambria. Love seeing you and hearing from you

I have three words that I want to focus on this year in order to take care of myself. Freedom, legacy, and healing. I will do this by living fearlessly and trying new things out my comfort zone. Whether it's to skydive, beat my mile time, feel the freedom to tell the people around me that I love them. In terms of legacy, I want to take in knowledge and truth and build a healthy/sustainable lifestyle that can be long lasting for my future family. When I think of healing, I think of continuing to go to therapy and to deal with what's in my heart. I no longer want to go around what gives me anxiety or fear but instead I want to go through it and break down the walls that have been confining me. Thank you, Cambria for using your channel and social media to continuously uplift others and speak truth.

This year to take care of myself, I am trying to be more present in the moment during the day. I find that I scroll too long on my phone or watching videos for hours on end instead of being more present in what’s going on around me. I don’t want to regret not spending more time enjoying this first year of my daughter’s life or not working towards achieving other aspirations. So to be more present I plan to first start off with checking my phone notifications after I have gotten myself ready for the day, watch one video in the morning (then I can watch more during my baby’s nap times and after I have gotten some things done on my to do list), and show myself Grace when I fall short of my plan. I’m not 100% perfect all of the time, but knowing that I am trying and not expecting perfection (something that is really hard for me since I have a tendency to be a perfectionist) is what is helping me to keep moving forward, because while I know doing this will be beneficial for me as a mother, wife, and member of my church, I also like to keep in perspective that I am doing this for myself so that I can be happy with myself and have my cup full enough to serve others around me by being present. I hope you have a great day and I wish you success with writing your second book (I’m currently trying to write my first book to self publish so hearing what you are doing to write yours is very motivating :))!

Keeping my self accountable. In my planner I have a list of everything I want to do in that day. I want to read my bible, exercise, track my macros, drink water. I know you don’t agree with “counting calories” but for me I’ve been a binge eater basically my entire life so this method is one of the only ways I have found to keep myself in check. Making sure i am eating enough protein, carbs, fat, fiber and not overdoing it. But on the days I do all of these things and can check off those boxes I feel so accomplished and knew that I took care of myself that day. I love everything you put out into the world and CAN NOT wait for your second book! Thank you for spreading love ❤️

Not scroll, but truly appreciate the goodness of the morning and that His mercies are new every morning. Thank you for that reminder! And also that the what we digest, we will be reflecting. So make sure that we are taking in healthy all around and the importance of it. Thank you for that reminder!

For me, the beginning of the year is sometimes so busy that I don't have time for the reflection and goal setting that I would like to do. Then I feel overwhelmed and a failure before I even start because it's now almost February. I'm still learning to not put pressure on myself for silly things like the time frame of when you do something, but I needed your encouragement today. So, I've decided my goal this year is to prioritize walking: moving my body as well as walking with God personally through Bible study. Perhaps both at the same time. I've always struggled with consistency in both these areas, but with the Lord's help I know that I can. Thank you for speaking kindness and truth into my life today.

I’ve been feeling very convicted about all the toxic products I use in my home. I want to use up all my toxic products and replace them. As well as really focus on what I feed my body and how it makes me feel and making the appropriate changes. Ever since I had my son last year I’ve just been eating what’s quick and easy but now that he’s growing up and starting solids I want to be conscious of what I eat and what I feed my family. As well as taking daily walks for fresh air! 😊

in 2022, i will give myself more grace. it’s so easy to fall into the stressors of this earthly world that we forget to take a step back and see what really matters/is important. the things i say to myself are things i would never dare say to my best friend! this year i truly intend to be my own best friend and treat myself with love and compassion because i was made in the image of God! it’s hard to remember that sometimes, but it’s true and something i need to remind myself more often.

I opened up KZbin looking for motivation to "be healthier, workout, lose weight." Key phrase: lose weight. I have struggled my entire life to be at a healthy weight and it's taking a toll on my health. Your video came up at just the right time. It was truly God saying here, watch this. He really spoke through you to me in this video. This is such a good reminder and lesson that it's not about a certain weight, appearance, needing to workout. It's about loving one's self and helping grow oneself. What more can I add? What more can I nourish my body with? Not what do I have to take away or what do I have to do? But what can I add? How can I add love to myself, nourishment, and acceptance as freedom. One thing I commit to doing this year is nourishing myself. What makes me feel my best, not only physically, but mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. Find those nourishing things and thoughts and prioritize them. I feel so refreshed and light and at peace after listening to you speak. I am always watching your videos but I have never just opened up KZbin to a brand new one (within the last couple hours), so I know God is speaking to me through you. Thank you so much for being authentically you and sharing what you have learned and conveying it in a way that is so helpful and peace-bringing. I am grateful for you and this video today

The one thing I’ve started this year is going to sleep earlier so that I can have quiet time with God in the morning before my toddlers wake up. I really wanted to be able to rest more and realign myself so that I can learn to just be loved by Papa and that be enough for me. Amazingly it’s been the easiest it’s ever been to sleep at night lately and I’m still working on waking up every morning on time. Most days I’m naturally waking around 6am but the kids are beating me to the punch 😂 i would like to wake before them not the within minutes from each other. I’ve also continued with my pro-metabolic habit’s & prepping my body so we can try for baby #3 at the end of the year 🤗 thank you for being such a light in this space & helping the body of Christ - especially Women to reclaim their divine design & to live fully nourished! 💜

One thing I'm doing to take care of myself this year is being more upfront and honest with myself and others. For instance, a friend texts me to hang out. Maybe I don't have the energy or time to do something so instead of telling her, "that sounds fun, I will let you know", I am upfront and say, "I can't swing it today, let's plan for another time". It takes loads of pressure off! Also, the kitchen looks beautiful. I love your attention to detail

I have already started my 2022 before the New Years. That’s cutting out artificial ingredients, more Whole Foods. Starting my morning with prayer and stretching “before” I even get out of bed. Short exercise first thing in morning and staying away from low vibrational individuals that bring me down. And of course ending my night in prayer meditation vs watching TV or on my cell.

Like everyone in the world I was affected by the pandemic, mix that with severe depression I’ve had since a teen. I felt lost and alone. I gained all my weight back, since there was no more sports to play, I was in my apartment, alone! in my thoughts. I’ve attempted suicide, I ended up in the hospital for over drinking, heart problems… I’m slowly trying to find myself again. I am teaching in person again, I start eating breakfast and more often throughout the day, slowing down on drinking, reading The Expositor’s Word For Every Day, I was able to lose about 20 pounds since the beginning of December ☺️ this video is basically reminding me I got this. I absolutely love your content 💕

Oddly enough, I got my first job in 7 years (been a SAHM) and I am doing it just for myself. I do not have to work, my husband provides more than enough, but my mental health now that my daughter is in school full time has gone down because I don't have much cleaning or cooking to do so I literally sit around all day. My plan: make bed immediately, let the light every room, have a healthy go-to breakfast with a glass of OJ, water water water, stretch! So I’m trying to get used to having lunch and make sure that I get 3 meals and snacks between them. I’ve tried getting the amount of food my body needed before and it felt SO good. So I want this to happen again and better than ever. It made my PMS way better and I felt VERY good. Lately I started incorporating lots of the supplements you talked about in your videos into my routine (chlorophyll, Vitamin B12, magnesium oil, collagen) I also started drinking OJ in the morning with my eggs lol 😄 and adding bee pollen to my foods and drinks. This year I am going to strain forward to become more vulnerable. With my husband, with myself, and with God. Taking care of myself lately has looked like naming what I am going through, and confiding in my God and in my husband for truth, and a check-in to who God says that I am. It’s something that has been hard for me for awhile, but praise God that I am learning I have so much more to offer myself and those around me than keeping my emotions, feelings, thoughts, and hurts to myself and not processing them with my Creator!

You were one of the first people I ever listened to talk about health and fitness, at least 7 years ago. I’m so glad I heard you. I think you saved me from a lot of misinformation, a lot of harshness on my own body and self image when I was at a pivotal age (around 15) for forming your opinion on wellness. I’m now 22 and married! As someone who loves God, and often loses the ability to give grace to themself, you remind me to extend God’s love to my own physical being as well as everyone else’s. That some nights are spaghetti squash and a jar of tomato sauce, sometimes your kitchen gets remodeled without you planning it, and no matter how beautiful you are if you are missing your daily bread, you’ll never be “full.” I have learned so much. And I still take collagen, beef liver supplements, and probiotics as my “basic 3”. With orange juice of course. I’m sure not every comment is positive. But thank you for sacrificing your privacy, comfort, and time to share your story online. All the love ❤️

I've been eating terribly unhealthy. I've been anxious at time and turned over to comfort food :( watching your video motivated me to push a little harder and try again in getting healthy. 10,000 steps is a lot for me lol I'm home all day and everyday for this winter pandemic. I'm going to figure out a way to exercise more at home♡ thank you Cambria!

Wow! I loved this video. I have had Hashimotos since my early twenties. I have never felt well enough to get up and move. I am feeling some better the past few weeks. While I have my energy I am going to get up earlier, eat breakfast and take a walk in the morning after my Bible study. I am going to be intentional in my actions! I want to feel good again. You give me inspiration♥️ Thank You Cambria!

I'm glad that you mentioned liking the video, because I was sitting here loving what you were saying and so into it that hitting the thumbs up had not occurred to me, haha! Thumbs up for sure! I so agree with what you said about the love of God flowing through you, and how that extends to how you can view others with love, rather than "picking apart the image of God." I thought that was a beautiful way to express that. I have so much to improve on with self care, it's ridiculous. I unfortunately have not been taking very good care of myself for a long time. I'm trying to focus on taking better care of my teeth this year....flossing more, etc. Yesterday after watching one of your videos, I went out and got myself a multivitamin. I know that baby steps are effective, so I'm not setting any major goals. Being a truck driver is one of the worst jobs for health, but I haven't figured out how to get out of the industry yet, as much as I want to. I try to eat healthy, but I don't eat enough. I used to cook on the truck a lot, but after taking a break, I'm finding it hard to get back in the routine and find the time to do food prep and cook. On a positive note, I've been led to study herbal medicine and wild medicinal plants. I'm also studying the use of herbal remedies for pets as well as humans. Also, I have had personal experiences of healing through prayer alone. The first one was being set free from 4 years of grieving over a lost relationship. The second was all the pain from my shoulder bursitis went away and I no longer have to take pain meds for it. The third was that I no longer have period cramps after having them for years (I didn't pray for that specifically, but it happened after an intense prayer session, and I don't know of any other reason to attribute it to). God is truly amazing. I'm so glad that you are not afraid to share your faith. I want to do that more, but I struggle with a lot of self doubt. Anyway, this is getting way too long. Just thank you for what you are doing to try to help and encourage people, and be a positive example.

This is a good reminder! I always start out gung-ho working out. My job is currently work from home and I don’t get the steps I used to at work. So,I am going to MAKE SURE I get 5k steps per day for the next month (end of Jan thru Feb) and then increase by 1k per month to get 10k. That way, it will gradually get warmer out the more steps I take. Granted I live in Northern California, it still gets pretty cold. I can always walk the stairs in my house for those steps if needed.

I LOVE your channel and YOU!!:) This year, to take care of myself, I am going to be intentional to invest in others (sounds counter-intuitive, I know!) But really, when I am loving & encouraging others, I feel oh so full of joy! Loneliness & sadness steal way too much life from people, but gratitude & encouraging others GIVES life! To be even more specific, I’ll start with what I’ll do tomorrow: I am going to send a well thought out text to a friend telling that what I love about them! Cambria, thank you for breathing life into me every single time I watch your videos!

I've already started my "one thing" which is to mentally decompress before bed and read, I've done that every night so far in January. I love to read but never find time so I'm craving out that time before bed no matter what even if it's 10-15 minutes. But I have a few goals I'm striving for this year. I'd also like to make peace with my body...I've had two kids and I'm in my mid almost late 30s now (eek lol) so of course my body doesn't look the same as it did 5, 10 years ago but I need to remember to appreciate it for all it's given me and how strong I am. I love your videos, they are like a reminder to live freely, happily, and restfully. Please share more recipes :)

This year I really want to be more intentional with working out, I just get in this loop of wanting to work out, doing it for a while and after that I just quit. It makes me sad that I dread workouts or that I think that I'm not going to finish the workout because I'm too weak. I guess I let my insecurities and anxiety talk me out of it, like: "you'll not gonaa make it" "might as well give up now". I want to be more present and healthy and not just lose weight to look a certain way. I hope that with the help of God I can take more care of myself. Happy 2022❤ I wish you an amazing year. Thank you for encouriging us though your videos and weekly emails🥰

My goal for this year is to slowwwww down! I do not want to rush my way through life even if I am actually running late. I am praying for a particular presence in all things to treat tasks and people with a graceful heart (not a hurried or frantic one)! Thank you for this video!! Excellent reminder that just BEing is enough, and that will bear fruit!

So good. I've actually been watching a ton of your videos lately. I really enjoy the topics, the joy, and the passion. I'm in my mid 40s but you remind me so much of myself. I love the deeper knowledge and wisdom you present on what it means to nourish yourself. With age I have developed sensitivities to certain foods and it just got hard to know what to eat. So this year I am learning to cook more. I wasn't restricting myself to diet, but I was lost and frustrated which led to restricting myself just to not feel worse each day. I am also going to incorporate breakfast before coffee. That tip blew me away!!!

I recently subscribed to you from watching one of Chloe Roy's channel. Something that I want to accomplish this year for myself is to get my bachelor's degree and teaching credential (set to get those in November of this year). I've been wanting to do this since 2017 and finally getting to the last finishing touches is so surreal. Also my word for this year is "Calm" which stems from my life verse, Exodus 14:14. I always have an anxious heart and my goal this year is to trust in God's process and although things haven't played out the way I thought they would yet, I'm still practicing staying calm with the strength from the Holy Spirit and it has been so good for my heart and overall, only having one instance where something overwhelmed me where by this time, I would have had several panic attacks by this time of the year.

One thing I want to work on this year is related to my spiritual/mental health. I plan to intentionally meditate on my daily devotions and think about what I’m reading more. Last year I read through the whole bible and while it was amazing to read every word, it can be easy to just read and not pause to actually absorb the Word and just hang out with God! So I am aiming for quality over quantity in my quiet time this year. 🥰

I am going to exercise more/walk more! I really need to be more active because as an online student I sit alot but have noticed that I am so nourished by nature when I go outside and move and feel good and healthy. I also am going to have peace with myself eating wise and give myself grace (lol give Grace grace) and just focus like you said on the why be healthy and be a good steward! Also Cambria I am so glad you are posting again! You are always such an inspiration not only in being healthy but in inspiring us all to be closer to God and abide in Him and all that. I pray you have a beautiful 2022!

This year I’m going to take care of myself by learning it’s ok to not be perfect. When I miss a workout or eat an unhealthy meal or forget to read my Bible or didn’t take my vitamins, I’m going to give myself grace instead of throwing it all away or “starting again next week”. I want to be more present in everything I do and approach my life with more grace.

Hi Cambria :) the one thing I’m doing this year is focusing on the outside factors that affect my mental health. To go into detail, I have moved my desk by my window (I work from home), go on 15 min walk during my break, get more sunlight, reducing (not eliminating :) ) processed sugars and caffeine intake to reduce anxiety, and being more intentional with my day and phone usage! Can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store for all of us!
