This was SUCH a good reminder to listen to our bodies and not whatever current weight loss trend. Thank you for shedding light on this topic and for being an advocate for HOLISTIC health. We definitely need more of this in the world, and I personally needed this in my life! Prolonged stress is not normal for sure, and I love that you mentioned that too. If you could make a video on suggestions or advice on de-stressing that would be super helpful also:) but love the what I eat in a day videos!

Cambria is one of the people who inspired me to be a Nutritionist Dietitian someday. It's because of the healthy living she always portrays in her videos. I'm on my third year of college now, one more year to become a registered dietitian! ❤

This was a very helpful video, especially (for me) when you mentioned that it takes time for the body to change and we need to give our bodies grace. The systems are so intertwined and intricate that improvements can be happening in ways we don't even realize when we set ourselves to earnestly work toward health.

I can’t explain how refreshing it is to here someone say the opposite of fast a ton, eat far apart, etc!! I had to quit intermittent fasting for my mental health, stress, and to get my hunger cues. Thank you!! You’re a blessing🤍🙏🏻

I seriously needed this video. This makes so much sense now! I have been eating healthy and working out for a while now. I haven’t restricted myself or viewed myself bad (recently was able to become free of that!) but I noticed I was waking up not hungry. My family does smoothies every night and I started saying I didn’t want one. With my school schedule and COVID rules I was going 5 hours a day without eating or drinking anything straight! To top it off I’ve been working out and stressed about school. I have been “trying” so hard and always go to bed feeling sick wake up feeling lethargic. And my belly seriously bloats to the point of pain every single day. I’m really seeing that I’ve been getting it all wrong. It’s not because I’m eating too much or not working out enough it’s because my body is stressed and trying to constantly survive this flight or fight mentality! Such a big wake up call. Thank you so much for this information Cambria! 💛

Worst thing I ever did was start dieting in my teens. Best thing I ever did was raise a daughter who does not diet, not in high school nor college. She eats what she wants, walks away when she's full, and likes both salads and burgers. She's got a healthy, happy metabolism and a good relationship with food and self image. I'm so grateful to God. I'm hoping God will help me repair my own metabolism that I wrecked with dieting. I'm trying to learn to EAT ENOUGH. No diet. Just plenty of real food. I'm just starting to feel hungry again after quitting IF (which ended up just being another diet tool I needed to drop). Thanks for sharing. I need to quit fasted exercise next. I've been doing that and feeling good, but not sure it's doing my metabolism any good.

Wow Cambria! I tell you what I haven’t watched your videos for about a year but I have watched you for years prior to that - I haven’t really watched KZbin! But I was meant to find this video tonight - god lead me here. I started having panic attacks when driving during lockdown and so many things were going on with my body, and the doctors weren’t helping me at all. This has just completely clicked for me! I work as a teacher at a university, and I’ve been working from home for the past 7 months and I’m only just realising now...I have been completely running off stress hormones and not thought! Thank you so much for sharing 🖤

Cambria, thank you so much for this video! Sleep has been a huge issue for me, but I also have all the other signs you mentioned. I wake up multiple times throughout the night and then wake up early (i.e. 5-6am) & can't go back to sleep. Whether or not I have work, I'm spending 2-5 hours awake before I even think about eating something. I've definitely overlooked a lot of this too., I really want to try out some of the things you've recommended (eating before workouts, eating within an hour of waking) and see how it works for me. This is so helpful!

So I just turned 50 and on the other end of the hormone road just beginning perimenopause. I’ve done a little research and found there are a few natural supplements that may be helpful in the balancing of these hormones. There is a company Olly and they have a Vitamin Miss Mellow which I’ve Been trying for two weeks now so I can’t fully endorse it but starting yesterday I really did feel a difference. MUCH more‘balanced’

I’m a older ladyyy 😁 this is excellent advice! It’s absolutely crucial to take the time and care to balance your hormones. From everything to your fertility to your general health and well being. Research the endocrine system 👍🏻 as for fasting, I think if you miss the “intermittent” part and just go all in with daily fasting or too many longer fasts - you will pay the price. However when used correctly it can actually have metobolic benefits (especially after 40) but like everything - moderation is key, along with not fasting during the 2nd part of your cycle 😁 this was a great video 😘
