Starter Wont Engage Try This Secret FIX 1st

was having a real problem with the starter running but not spinning the flywheel. sure the pinion gear would move out to engage but would not spin the flywheel. i followed your method and immersed the pinion gear in some brake clean for a couple minutes. Reassembled, and installed starter. works consistently now. Boy o boy. thanks for the great approach.

That's a great idea there Kelly now do you have a video of how to replace the solenoid that's attached to the starter on a riding mower

Honestly I dont.. it's hard to find a separate solonoid to replace when attached to starter.. we just bypass and use a 2nd solonoid . Taryl fixes all has a great video on exactly how to do that. And I will make a vid showing it on my channel this week. Thanks for the idea
