More than 30 years later and she still runs! Classic and solid. Nostalgia and childhood! See, these were still popular when I was born in the 90s, too! I remember seeing a few of these as a little kid, in the late 90s. I once drove a '94 Benz C-class, myself, in high school! All of these 80s and 90s cars all have stories to tell, folks. Something that can't ever be found on today's vehicles, regardless of year, make, model, and trim. This, like many other cars you find Flexiny, are such underrated gems. Props to you for bringing these all back to life. It brings us all nostalgia, all over...

I've been raised back in late 90's early 00's on this particular model...same 200D , same colour. Me andbmy Dad we used to spent couple of goooooood hours to work on this model, he tought me how to use tools and how to make it works...after that we've had couple of beers or vodka and spent few long nights sitting inside, listening tapes during short summers worm nights and just talking about women , life , friends... Dad passed away 14 yrs ago , but love to him and to this Mercedes gonna be live in my hart and mind FOREVER...just exactly how this Merc been made... FOREVER!!!

Almost bought a used 4-speed manual (yes, 4) 200D back in 1992. Left it because it was, even for those days, so underpowered. Given the strict emission regulations now, this one is for the museum I'm afraid, or Africa :-) I do love the tank-like engineering on these older MB's though. They just refuse to stop running. The 200D was a 4 cylinder, the bigger engines had 5 or 6 cylinders, and made for that unique sound. This one has 283k on the odo, still in its childhood :-)
