Funnily enough you have a lot of cars on your channel that I can relate to. So is this one. I owned a 420 SEC 25 years ago. These 4.2 V8 were a nice ride though not very powerful, especially not by today's standards. This high revving at idle and warm engine is due to a bad mass airflow sensor we used to call "cigar" at the time. I traded mine when it needed some love that I lacked the financial means to afford at that time... a shame, I wish I had it back today.

There were two versions of the 4,2 l M116. The later one from 88 on had more hp. Its powerful enough imho. but of course, nothing compared to todays s-classes or even smaller cars.

@@sudenns алеша, видео снято в Эстонии, а не в твоем мухосранске. Бензин сейчас 52руб/литр 92-го, без учета конского транспортного налога и стоимости запчастей. На тех же рейнджах часто ставят ГБО, потому что не по сеньке шапка с расходом 20+ литров на сотню. Российская классика- премиальный седан, стоящий памятником у хрущебы или изредка от нее отъезжающий.
