I own a MY2000 Nissan Cefiro A33 (same model). Mechanically in 24 years and 250000 km, only minor issues occurred (coils, MAF), but corrosion is the main issue with this car. I had to change the sub-radiator frame and need to coat the underbody regularly with Rustol. I hope Flexiny's car is not a rust bucket.

The interesting thing is that so many years have passed. Yet the car industry has not come up with much better/reliable cars than Nissan Maxima and W124 Mercedes! I bought 7 months ago a relatively low mileage 2.0 1998 Nissan Maxima. Happy with it. Rust is a problem. However I think it can be handled.

Bonne voiture bon moteur , dommage que les bas de caisses et les passages de roues sont victime du cancer de la rouille perforante stigmate de nombreux hivers sur la neige ,le sel , l'humidité,le froid ... même la meilleure des tôles finit par pourrir ... c'est marrant je regardais les prix de ce modèle de maxima introuvable en France ; répandu plus en Allemagne et en Suisse c'est une voiture de bonne qualité et pleines d'atouts qui offre bien plus qu'une mercedes ou une BMW en matières d'équipements et de moteurs à l'époque en neufs ...le prix était imbattable! i had one of this three years ago. A 2002 Nissan Cefiro 2.0G. 230000 kilometers of mileage, leaking oil, but still runs great.
