looking up ruffle blouse on Amazon pulls up tons of loliable blouses and some actual lolita blouses that fit almost any budget. and I find that thrift stores always have nice button up blouses that are pretty.

It's ok, you have no reason to be nervous(unless you think someone will physically hurt you or that your parents are going to kick you out). You should just wear whatever you want to and if anyone is mean about it then be strong. If someone thinks they can easily push you around (literally or metaphorically) then they will do just that. If they think that you someone they can't walk on then they won't even try(they make talk behind your back, but if something is worth saying then you say it to their face). If you don't feel strong then stay with friends because it's harder to push around a group of people than a individual. You could also fake it till you make it. At the end of the day It's more important that you make yourself happy than to try and please others, because they will never be pleased with what you do.

For the parasols/Umbrellas, I actually found one in Target (USA obviously) for $14.99 in both black and white. They're quite plain, but they could easily be hand embroidered, embellished with fake flowers, etc by an intrepid creative person trying to be on budget.

I would suggest buying an OP rather than a JSK. When I bought my first lolita dress - JSK - it was pretty hard for me to match with the dress nicely. Maybe that was just me being unable to do proper coord (:D), but if you aren't very confident about your matching skills I think buying an OP is better choice :)

The only problem with starting with an OP, you have less options for coords. You don't want to wear the same outfit over and over again, but with JSKs you can mix and match colors and stuff.

If you want to go as a creepy doll this year, but don't want to spend a lot of money, my suggestion is bodyline. It's very cheap and they have some pretty dresses that can work well for Halloween.

Ohneeein, jetzt habe ich das Fenster geschlossen, ohne die Nachricht abgeschickt zu haben. Aalso: Dankeschön ♥ Ich kenne unter Creepern jetzt nur die Schnürschuhe mit den dicken Absätzen, das stelle ich mir bis auf für Punk Lolita eher schwierig vor, weil sie ja nicht sonderliche elegant oder feminin sind. Müsste man aber sehen, ob es gut zum Rest passt. Wenn du Absätze nicht magst und dennoch höhere Schuhe haben willst, versuch es doch mal mit leichtem Plateau. Da habe ich ein paar echt schöne (und vorallem erschwingliche) Schuhe bei Qutieland gesehen. Schuhe habe ich dort noch keine bestellt, also kann ich da leider nichts über die Quali sagen.

+RengeNano The only thing that really matters, is making sure the clothing you buy fits comfortably on you. It may be harder to find lolita styles in your size, but perhaps if you begin sewing, or showing some reference pictures to a seamstress, that could work. :D The main thing is just making sure it fits right, and looks neat. That's all~ Too tight isn't any better than too loose.

Hmm well, I had been having a recovered eating disorder and already gained 10kg back then. It's nice that you worry but it's very rude to say to someone "go eat!!!". If you assume that they're ill you'll make it even worse by telling so, because people might not feel accepted and feel even worse about their bodies. It didn't affect me personally as I'm fully recovered - but I guess you can imagine how hard it would be for people who still are struggeling with their ED and get to hear something like that. So please next time you're concerned about somebodies health or assume that they are stucked in an ED tell them that you're worried but do not write such things that might insult them. (Or even strenghthen their behavior by seeing this kind of statement as an approval.) Well then - I'm gonna cook my noodles now, you definitely don't need to worry about me anymore. :P
