1:39 reminds me of something that happened in the young jedi knights books. A Jedi student with a synthetic power source lost her arm in the explosion during a duel from it. Granted I think that was more to do with bad craftsmanship rather than a bad power source but still it made me think of that a bit.

Something I feel like I should point out is that the Kage species name is probably pronounced KA-gé. Kage is the Japanese word for shadow. Which makes sense as they are shown to be very much like ninja in the Clone Wars.

Is it worth the read? I'm finishing up "Out of The Shadows" and I've heard Vernestra isn't even in the follow up book "Fallen Star", which seems weird since some of the characters in OoTS appear in that book according to wiki. Does her story arc end in this book or..?

Fallen Star isn't really the follow up book to Out of the Shadows even though there are references to OotS in it. Fallen Star is really the follow up book to The Rising Storm. I would say that the 3 adult novels are really the only ones that could be categorized as being in a series with another. The YA books so far have been fairly standalone and are written in a way that they aren't necessarily 'essential' to understanding the main plot that is going through the adult novels.

TV series take years to develop. Just the announcement of a show doesn't even mean that there is even in production taking place on the show. Think back to when Andor was announced in 2018. It didn't even begin filming until December 2020 and still doesn't even have an air date at this point.

They didn't actually use Kyber Crystals at all in Legends. Any kind of crystal from synthetic to Corusca to kinds we have on Earth could be used to power a lightsaber back then.

So far I haven't seen any mention of how they met. Haven't seen it mentioned in the comics. I just started Midnight Horizon (the last book I'm reading of Phase1) and I doubt it'll give an answer to that. I think it really was for shock value. 🤷‍♀

Seeing the Halcyon is making me a bit concerned given that so far, said Star Wars hotel at Walt Disney World been recieving criticism and mockery.

You don't have to be concerned for the quality of the book I think. *A.* The Halcyon seems to only serve a little role and *B.* the criticism the park-piece receives are because it is overprized and offers little for it. Disappointing, but nothing which affects it's story-potential in media.

@@jordanmarcial3670 No idea about Kipp, they’re in this video as having survived till the sequel trilogy tho. Proxima was a gang leader in Corellia and featured in the Solo movie. Idk I don’t think it’s a huge deal but I get that some people don’t like how small and crowded star wars can feel and I can understand that position
