Anyone can really call themselves Sith and and wield a light saber, but they didn't hold the secrets of the Sith. And I don't know why you don't think he brought balance to the force. This doesn't mean that conflict and death will be stopped for all eternity. The Sith had a final plan crafted for centuries that would destroy the republic and the Jedi, and it was very effective. If it weren't for Anakin, this empire would have ruled for hundreds of thousands of years, possible eternity as Palpatine prophecized, Palpatine may have found the secret of immortality in that time. If it weren't for Anakin, this empire would be unstoppable. In fact, Luke was the last remaining Jedi in return of the Jedi, so he would not exist either if it were not for Anakin Skywalker and the prophecy of the chosen one. Leia would have been executed,

They held no secrets of the Sith, they just copied traditions that were common knowledge, they had no Sith training at all either, they just knew the basics enough to be called dark Jedi. The title of Sith must be rewarded, that is if you're referring to Krayt. Snoke and Kylo are not Sith, and haven't even claimed themselves Sith, they found means to use light and dark side for personal use. And Palpatine begin resurrected isn't canon anymore, and at least to my knowledge Palpatine kind of abandoned the ways of the Sith in training a new apprentice and passing on Sith secrets, and instead just terrorized the Galaxy, because he knew his time in the physical world is running out. There are also still force ghosts of Sith that I believe are still out there, but they were not a threat to the galaxy

How does he not destroy the sith? He killed Palpatine, the only one remaining sith. Krayt is not cannon anymore, and as far as we can tell, kylo and snoke are also not sith. As I see it, he did fully destroy all sith that were left, which was himself and palps. And well, it's debatable whetever or not he brought balance to the force, because there is no true definition of "balance".

Most people argue that Anakin didn't deserve to come back as a Force ghost, due to his past deeds as Vader but if I may address this misunderstanding: The Force doesn't operate on a Good or Evil basis, it isn't an all seeing demigod deciding who's deserves to return and who doesn't etc, certain aspects of the force unlock certain abilities. For instance anger and hatred can potentially produce lightning. And light side users can potentially return as a Spirits, provided the user first fully rids themselves of their dark Sid tendencies, truly letting go of anger, hate etc. Anakin Let go of the Dark Side that was holding him back, he cleansed himself, rid himself of all things Dark Side and Vader.

People don't understand the concept of redemption (it does not and has never meant "making up for" bad deeds, or good deeds outweighing bad), and they think its like our concept of going to heaven. Its not, the Force in SW is more like pantheism/Buddhism. Becoming a Force Ghost was about becoming totally selfless, and Anakin did that at the end, but I like your explanation as well. He did rid himself of all things Dark Side and Vader. Or rather, he returned and destroyed Vader.

Great video but you made one mistake. You said that Anakin's body was in the Darth Vader armor/suit when Luke burned it on the funeral pyre. But according to the Wookieepedia article about Anakin's funeral(In both Canon and Legends) the Darth Vader armor/suit is empty due to Anakin having become one with the force when he died.

My theory was always that maybe even though Anakin didn't know what he was doing, he still did it. Like, when you are messing around, you accidentally do something amazing. In order to be a force ghost, you must be at peace with the fact that you are dying. Obi-Wan accepted it, Qui-Gon mostly accepted it, Yoda accepted it - and Anakin accepted it. Therefore, even though he didn't know what he was doing, he still did it. Just my theory.

From what I remember another actor (Sebastian Shaw) played anakin's force ghost standing next to yoda and obi wan in the original return of the Jedi and in the 1997 revision/remake and not Hayden Christensen. In 2004, Hayden replaced Sebastian as the force ghost. Sebastian was the same actor who played the dying Vader when Luke removed his helmet in front of him in an imperial shuttle. All three ghosts were seen by Luke before he smiled at them and went to spend time with his sister and the rest of the rebel alliance victory feast/celebration.

Honestly him being the chosen one is the only viable reason for him to become a force ghost. He had done too much evil to not suffer from a guilty conscious, how would he suddenly free himself of all that guilt and become one with the force. He was too corrupted to just be liberated from his wrong doings in his final moments..

Its not about "freeing himself from guilt". He still felt guilty. It was about becoming totally selfless. Self sacrifice is the highest form of love and requires a person to be utterly selfless. What he did for Luke was self-sacrifice,and in the process he didn't just save Luke he saved the entire Galaxy. He also completely let go of the Dark Side (like Luke said "let go of your hate), and the Force saw there was no darkness there anymore. Since he soul had already left his body, he was basically liberated anyway.

Do what if Anakin killed Obi Wan in rots with this story: Anakin would rescue his children and unfortunately Padmé would die but he would be very strict on his master telling him he would not have an impact on the children's lives and after 4 to 5 years Anakin invites Palpatine to a meal on Courascant and he would admit that he hasn't felt comfortable on his side and says 'Darth Vader is dead my friend.' Palps would ask 'then who am I eating with?' Anakin would respond 'Anakin Skywalker, that's who.' They finish and Palpatine is very worried but he and Anakin would still be friends and meet up together if they wanted to.Before departing Courascant, Anakin and Palpatine would have a meeting in the palace and the emperor had given him two crystals for lightsabers they would build if allowed. Anakin would take Luke and Leia to Naboo to live there freely, Anakin would take time out of his life to train them in the force as they had demanded while also training himself in more obscure aspects of the force such as healing, force ghosts, telepathy and a more defensive fighting style than normal. Now, Luke and Leia are 6 years old and Anakin is trying to locate master Yoda to help train the children, Anakin gets his wish and finds Yoda on Dagobah, Yoda is still resentful but is changed when he sees the children and wants to assist in their training after Anakin explains what has happened recently in his life and that he had renounced Darth Vader and become Anakin again. Palpatine has found Galen and just like what Anakin did in TFU he killed Kento and taken the child to train him in the dark side as lord starkiller, 17 years have passed and now at the time of ROTJ Anakin is now 46 with 23 year old Luke and Leia at his side they all tell Yoda that they would like to find Palps and end him. After pondering for what seemed like forever Yoda joins them in the fight the emperor but when they enter space Anakin senses 2 very familiar presences, low and behold these were Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex searching for Anakin, after a happy reunion Ahsoka asks if they can join in the fight against Palpatine and the empire, Anakin allows them to join and they make it to the second death star above Endor to face Palpatine and his obvious apprentice he had waiting for them. Rex was fighting stormtroopers alongside Ahsoka whilst the other 4 try make it to Palpatine without being spotted, all of them except rex for obvious reasons have made it to the throne room with Palpatine and Starkiller waiting on them 'I had sensed you long ago my old friend' he would say to Anakin who wouldn't respond but ignite his blue lightsaber Ahsoka follows igniting her white lightsabers insuing in a 3 on 1 duel of Ahsoka, Luke and Leia against Starkiller with Anakin and Yoda fighting Palpatine, the duel is long and hard for all but the Jedi come out on top with Starkiller dying by the hand of Leia and Palpatine dying by the blade of Anakin Skywalker however after this, Yoda would die but he would be a force ghost helping Anakin, Luke, Leia and Ahsoka on rebuilding the Jedi order back on Courascant. Grandmaster Anakin Skywalker would advice the master of his order Ahsoka help him complete the knights Luke and Leia's training before they get apprentices of their own and the galaxy was free of scum and villainy

Seeing the pain being brought towards his son and being with the pain for 20 years, is why he turned back. Anger and hate takes everything from a person. Vader lost everything when he turned, and it took him 20 years to realize that, and when he figured that out, he turned back and when he did that the pain and struggles he had endure all those years ended forever.

I see someone who denies the fact that Anakin is the chosen one so imma clear things up for that guy. Well, balance to the force has a very complex meaning and is more complicated than u think. The role of the Jedi was to fulfill the will of the force and carry out their actions with influence by the will of the force. This however, wasn’t the case with Yoda’s Jedi order. Instead of following the will of the force, the Jedi were corrupted by politics and the will of the people, this leading to their own demise. After Anakin, the chosen one was spawned, his role was to eliminate anyone using the force for their own benefit and not for the will of the force itself. Qui Gon was the only Jedi who followed the will of the force besides Yoda and maybe Obi Wan, which is probably why he was chosen to transcend into force first. As a result, Anakin had to eliminate many Jedi from Yoda’s order and the Sith especially. The Sith were a corruption of the dark side. Not just the dark side, but the Sith used the dark side of the force against the will of the force and for their own benefit, power and corruption, thus, both the Sith and the Jedi of Yoda’s order were keeping the force imbalanced. Once Anakin eliminated the Jedi order in the Jedi purge, he still didn’t restore balance, because the Sith still remained. That’s why he survived Mustafaar, because the balance wasn’t restored yet. Once Anakin destroyed himself and Palpatine, THE LAST OF THE REAL SITH, and Yoda and Obi Wan became one with the force, the last of the former Jedi, the balance was finally restored since the ones keeping the force out of balance were eliminated and the new Jedi Order had risen with Luke training proper Jedi who followed the will of the force and strived to keep it in balance, fulfilling their initial role as keepers of the peace, and there being no more REAL Sith, one, because the Sith after Vader and Palpatine were deemed pretenders and two, because they aren’t canon lmao.

He had a reason to become stronger even if he had to turn to the dark side. First to save his mother, and then his wife. He had always hated slavery and that the Jedi order and the Empire were a kind of slavery. Having managed to do good deeds besides bad ones like the dark lord. Which is shown in some comics. For example, he saves childhood friends. He makes a friend among the officers whom he saves with his life In the case when he spared opponents. So it is clear that Anakin remained in the depths of his soul. Vader also destroyed corruption. In addition, he insinuated himself into Palpatine's confidence, so to speak, spied on him and completed the task of eliminating him. It's not the mask itself that matters, but what's behind it. In fact, they were two separate personalities of different personalities. And they fought for dominance. Anakin the bright side and the Jedi. Anakin basically reset the force. He killed all the Jedi, and then killed the last Sith. He really did restore balance. Also I just realized “return of the jedi” could be seen as luke coming back, but also Anakin thats craxy

+Star Wars Theory Yoda had to train and go thru trials to become a force ghost, so did obi-wan, so did qui-gon as it was qui-gon who taught yoda and obi-wan. And these are to be done while still alive. What you read makes sense. But there are quite a few others that become force ghosts like Mara Jade Skywalker...
