I’m enjoying catching up on your journey!!! I spent some time today adding all my diamond paintings to my log book. I am using a different system, but I have been trying not to buy. I stopped diamond painting at the New Year and I think it was because of so much buyer’s remorse!!! I have 31 unfinished paintings-and I feel guilty about that! I am super slow also. I only painted for a year and I had 6 finishes? So it’s hard to justify a stash of 31. Anyway, it made me very happy to take inventory of what I own today and be grateful for what I have and build excitement about working on them. So THANK YOU!

Haven’t bought again as yet. So far a month no buy and 4 WIPs still in the works . Congrats on the jogging. I’m going to set up my rowing machine this week and we’ll see how that goes. Great video, I bought 2 kits from Dreamer Designs. But no more on kits for a while. However, I do buy a few 'treats' once a month from small shops on etsy like pens, trays, putty, release sheets, etc. Love the running clips, maybe show the views, love the birds in the background so peaceful ❤

I recently purchased these A2 and A3 portfolios on Amazon to get organized. Most of my diamond painting completions fit in A2 and A1 size portfolios. Next I plan to buy the A1. ☺ Since the A3 is mostly empty I felt I needed to buy snack size diamond paintings Fall & Winter themed. The diamond paintings costed me $20 dollars and haven't arrived yet.

I actually think I need to keep my stash at maybe 12, so I can always have openings for a new release, sale, or some other "emergency" haha I completed 12 last year, so this actually seems doable

I'm on a very low buy program right now. So far 3 weeks without buying for me... but Fridays are when DAC usually gets me because they drop their best kits last. But I'm only buying if I absolutely love it. Luckily the only one I love so far is rounds, which I don't do, so I won't buy it even though I adore Sarah Richter. Next I'm going to shop my stash and find my top favorites. Then the mega destash, everything else goes.

I bought three this week... Two from DAC, because I didn't want to lose my points (yes, it's been almost a full year since I purchased from them 😵 But both were "unicorns" that I have wanted for a very long time, no impulse buys, so that feels like a small win) and one from a new to me company called Art and Soul. I blame girl math 😂 They were running a 20% off on selected canvases special, and I figured if I'm going to have to ship my DAC order to South Africa anyway I might as well take advantage of package consolidation and ship two orders together so I save a bit on shipping.

I have well over 400 premium kits. I hardly ever DP, complete maybe 2-3/ yr. It is definitely a collecting thing for me. I stopped buying and started throwing them away. I want them out of my home. I have some that I know ppl would love to have (like Bringing Home The Tree) but I absolutely do not want the hassle of selling. I went to UPS to gift one to somebody and they wanted $50 to ship. I threw away 50 kits last wk. It is the easiest solution for me. I may keep 20 or so. I understand your concept of accountability. I wish you much luck on your new system. It can get OOC fast. 😊

ooooohhhhhhhh you have / (had) bringing home the tree? That's like the ultimate unicorn. I can totally understand that you do not want the hassle of selling. I've been asked many times during my detox why I didn't just destash the ones that I wasn't particularly fond of. Well first of all I wanted to finish my own challenge, but secondly I don't like the hassle either. Keeping about 20 seems like a great amount - especially when you hardly ever DP. That will sustain you.
