Stationeers: How To Pressurise Your Base

In this series of "How To" mini-guides I show how to undertake some of the core tasks in PC survival game Stationeers.
These videos were made in August 2022 and show the mechanics and processes that are in the game at this time.

How To Pressurise Your Base
Pressurising your base is critical to grow food but following the August 2022 atmosphere changes it is no longer safe to just vent the large pure oxygen tank into the base. This is a fire risk. Instead use this method to pressurise your base ready for plant growth.

Firstly - LOVE THE VIDEOS your so worth my time keep up the good work. But...At the beginning. you say Pure oxygen atmospheres are a fire risk. Oxygen is NOT FLAMABLE. The More oxygen you have doesn't increase the fire risk. It is not oxygen that burns. it is necessary to carry the chain reaction. but if the Upper flammability of Oxygen in a given space is higher than 75% then too much of a good thing puts out fire.You need a flamable substance like hydrogen or Methane to assist in the reaction put o2 below 16% and it wont burn too well if at all either. People need about 16% o2 to function after that sky's the limit.

What is the right level of oxygen you need? And how do you get Reid of the gas that puts you to sleep?

The lowest breathable oxygen partial pressure about 20kPa (so if you're at 100kPa you need 20% oxygen. At 20kPa you need 100% oxygen, but don't do that - it will burn!). Closest you'll get to IRL and not have issues is probably something around 100kPa made up of 21% O2 78% N2 1% CO2. You can omit the CO2 and use 79% N2 instead if you don't want to grow plants. Right now the plant respiration model isn't quite right though so you can get away with lower amounts of CO2. CO2 toxicity is supposed to be coming imminently so I'd advise keeping it fairly low. In theory you won't die until you hit around 7kPa partial pressure, but you will incur lung damage which will eventually be fatal. Also bear in mind if you damage your lungs (with vacuum, heat, cold etc) they will be less effective and you can still suffocate at acceptable partial pressures for heathy lungs - it may take a while but unless you use a medical pill you will die if your lungs are red

How would i set up a mixing system to circulate air between my main hab and green house, and keep the main hab at about 20% oxygen and 80%nitrogen? I cant figure out how to set that up

ice smelting it is warm enough it do not smelt in cold or night.
