This man, this way of thinking in the present helped me overcome the trauma of my HIV diagnosis 25 years ago. And here I am 25 years later in a place and time and in a peaceful present state of mind I was convinced I would never see. Blessed man.

We are so lucky that we have so many Thay’s recordings on KZbin! And He is still with us, still helping us! Short, but powerful message, I like to get back to it when I feel confused or upset. Thank you so much for sharing this video! 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️

I really love Thay, it’s difficult to describe what I feel when I hear him talking or even when I see his presence... He’s an angel remembering us that we all are angels! I’m so grateful for being in the world at the same time as him! ❤️

This video is unbelievably powerful in its simplicity. Sometimes when I meditate I unwittingly reject painful feelings, but master Thay clearly describes the right approach to tailor our meditation based on what is going on inside. We really are so lucky to have open access to such teachings. Thank you very much.

So many conditions of happiness available in the present moment... As our mindfulness develops, our dislike for the unpleasant experiences, greed for the pleasant experiences and the notion of selfhood will be replaced by the deeper awareness of impermanence, unsatisfactoriness, and selflessness. This knowledge of reality in our experience helps us to foster a more calm and mature attitude towards happiness.
