@@anneshirley95 it is hard sis. My prayer is for God's favor to be over our husbands and that we would have a spirit and words sweeter than honey, so we can turn away strife and anger. 🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️♥️♥️

He has a knack here, and in his other videos, of making hard truths and bitter pills easier to take and apply personally. I appreciate how he doesn’t delight in judging and criticizing; points out basic truths without condemnation. Gentle, but firm (and funny)!🙏🏻

We are divorced for 18 months. I so wish we could have done something like this before it happened. And my daughter is at the Airforce Academy. Satan came in and I made him a cup of tea. I am standing for our marriage. There are no others in our lives. I was a contentious wife. He is a great man, wonderful husband and super dad. Pray for us. Ruth and Karl

What I want to see Focus tackle ( I know they won't) is the common thing in Christian marriages where the wife is constantly trying to steal her husband's God-ordained headship. Some wives are much more aggressive with this than others, but it is very common. The problem with it is pastors will not go there in counseling. You can take that to the bank. They normally will not confront a wife in their congregation with regard to the typical sins these women commit against their husbands, and they will certainly not challenge them in counseling to stop trying to steal their husband's headship. This tendency comes from the spirit of rebellion operating in their hearts. As long as wives in congregations are given a free ride by their leadership, the local church will continue to be ineffective in reaching the world around them.

Pray for that wife. Pray often and everyday; that attitude will turn around in time.
