Wow, this may turn out to be one of the most important videos for me; HISTAMINES. I've been eating carnivore (95%) for about 18 months. I've lost about 35 lbs and feel pretty good but every now and then I get a lot of mucus and congestion and my throat gets so tight I choke on a single vitamine pill. Lynn talking about histamines got my attention, so, I found a list of foods high in histamines and some are foods I eat regularly. I think I'll try the lion diet for a while. Thanks Lynn and you too Doc. 😉 🥰

I have many similarities in symptoms as this nice lady, I'm a 58 year old male. My history is much too long for a comment section, but I have researched up and down so many rabbit holes that it makes my head spin. One thing I'm starting to believe is that all of these strange "autoimmunity " conditions are just variances of the same thing, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, MS, and I also think that the recent plague accelerated these symptoms, and I mean the infections as well as the intervention, I DID NOT take the latter. It all seems to most effect the central nervous system. Carnivore seems to help so many with these conditions. I've been on and off the diet so many times but have been very low carb for years and I believe I would be gone if I still ate SAD. I'm going to try again with a January 1st resolution with a minimum goal of 6 months so that I may feel better in time for fishing/kayak season here in the Upper peninsula of Michigan. Thank you Dr. Chaffee for your constant motivation.

Since i started this carnivore, i no longer have bleeding symptoms with bowl movement. My bowl is small and no longer have constipation. Also, i have noticed my gums feel strong.

I need to listen to talks like this every once in a while to maintain my sanity! I was super ill in my late 20s to late 30s (now in my mid 40s). Friends and society looked at me as having some sort of personality issues because I “looked fine”. The only solution the VA could come up with was a thyroid ablation saying I had Graves’ disease. Very low carb mostly carnivore and moving to a dry, sunny, high altitude cooold climate has helped. Whenever I share my story I’ll get an incredulous look. Unfortunately I have extreme self discipline to function and focus my eyes and thoughts when the pain headaches fatigue neuropathy shaking redness fog etc sets in (thankfully rare anymore). To hear others talk about mold sensitivity, food issues, etc is very refreshing. As a single mom I never had the luxury to go on disability. I’m glad others can so they have the ability to figure things out!

Micotoxines could be in Shower Heads and faucet aerators which need to be disassembled and cleaned at least weekly, also in Brita filter Pitcher and similar PLASTIC CONTAINERS TOXIC for environment, and if you don't keep it in the fridge empty and poor filtered water into washed with soap and brush clean GLASS JARS (can keep them on the counter and wash each time you empty one). Clean Brita Water Container at least weekly at least with dish soap and gentle soft bristle brush with long bristles which are soft and then rinse and inspect your work for left moldy spots and replace Filter as recommended after so many gallons and don't be cheap, keep it in the fridge especially if you don't live on North or South Pole 😂 and keep it empty and maybe with slightly open lid top to allow air drying when not in use). Using any machines at your home kitchen like food processor or coffee or something like plastic pitchers and not cleaning them with professional cleaners and let soap sit on surfaces before you brush again and then rinse and DO IT ON SCHEDULE AS IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL OFFICE CLEANER BEING CHECKED BY YOUR BOSS DAILY (can set an alarm to do this like taking daily medications)... Also, it's sad that our Employers don't require gym exercise at least 3 times a week for at least 30-45 min during lunch break or in the morning or after work as condition to keep working, and don't offer for Free Professional Dietician Counseling and then any special diagnosed people at work can be offered a sabbatical for difficult times. I believe all people who work in Medical field should be offered Free Lectures to advance their own knowledge in health care and nutrition and personal hygiene (such as home cleaning common health hazards such as mold spots and bacteria surfaces and easy routine for common cleaning tasks and best practices)... Also, everyone else living with you needs to wash hands when they are touching anything with food or surfaces before holding these kitchen pitchers, and doors of refrigerator or microwave and stove knobs and light switches and other surfaces they need to learn to wipe with Fantastic or similar cleaner after they are done serving themselves in the kitchen to help keeping it clean. Microwave foods always covered with a special top lid and wash it with soap after use together with dishes as soon as you get done with your meal. Sanitize kitchen brushes and sponges at least with boiled water if you don't have time, or microwave them wet for 4-5 min under the lid with not too many holes at night before you put them to air drying. Keep a check schedule on the kitchen and bathroom for cleaning tasks daily with Lysol as well, and thoroughly cleaning faucet aerators, shower heads and laundry machines at least every 10-14 days to avoid MOLD SPORES. Purchase ionization air filters if you have sensitivity to mold and mildew, wash your bedsheets every 7-10 days and let your bed AIR DRYING before making it, perhaps vacuum it and your pillows each time you change your sheets. Washable pillows or double thick pillowcases for feather pillows and then put the top regular pillowcase on Top, and you can use hyperallergenic mattress cover as long as you vacuum your mattress and change mattress cover at least every month. If you smell mold don't drink from your plastic pitchers, bottles or anything plastic especially with your saliva staying on these bottles during hot summer. Wash all ceramic cups and plates after each meal or drink with dish soap and gentle soft bristle brush and let soap sit on them for 2-3 min before you rinse them with a different brush for rinsing and use good quality silverware and not plastic utensils. Dishwasher if you don't leave door open to air-dry can be a good petri dish with lots of mildew and mold, so use special cleaning to sanitize it, and never put unrinsed with brush dirty dishes to promote mold and mildew (for laziest people who get sick as a result). Clean these if you think that you are in the Hospital or office and all surfaces have mildew, mold and germs and couldn't be healthy unless you sanitize them spotless (as if your only job was an office cleaning lady who wanted to impress her boss to get a supervisor promption). Also, you should replace your air filters in any home cooling or heating system and check vents and sources of any moisture in basement, bathroom, laundry room (machines need to be serviced professionally or replaced if it beyond mold and mildew removal), kitchen sink and dishwasher (machines), plants soil could too be the source (can water plants from the top of soil only once a month with 1/4 of hydrogen peroxide to 3/4 of water using a small bottle like siracha sauce empty bottle with thin nozzle and being careful not to get on leaves).

However, formore than 12 weeks I have been eating only chicken thighs (roast chicken thing most of the time). I am Brazilain and Here in Brazil, red meat is very expensive with the increase in inflation. I have lost some body fat, but only in the initial 3 weeks. (I was for more than 3 months without losing any bodyfat when eating read meat) I eat 1.2 kg of chicken thighs for lunch and 7-9 whole eggs for dinner.(in a 6 hours window). I still have at least 4-6 kg of body fat to lose to reach my goal of being below 15% BF.( My weight is +-80kg) I am 35 years old, 180 cms tall and go the the gym 3 times a week.(I pefrome resisntece execise to help build some muscle and lose bodyfat) I am around 20%BF and would like to get under 15%BF. I have ahd problems to lose body fat with the Carnivore diet. (I have not lose amuch body fat in my experience as a Carnivore. Regarldess of eating read meat o chicken) Allow me to ask some questions about the Carnivore diet, in my sitution: 1- Should i start using the CICO model to lose the last 10-15lbs of Bodyfat i still have to lose? 2- Can someon follow a caninvore diet if he or she can only buy Chicken? 3- What would you recommend for those who only have the financial resources to buy chicken? Or for those in this situation, it may be better not to follow a carnivore diet. Maybe on a ketogenic diet? Thank you very much!

So I’m going to cut out the butter (I usually only put it in my coffee) but I drink 4- 5 cups a day so I’ll cut it and see what happens. Red meat is so much better for you than chicken. Can you afford ground beef? That’s what I eat. Steak is too expensive. Good luck in your journey. I’m struggling as well. Sometimes it’s a longer process for some of us. After years of pumping my body with junk it isn’t going to heal overnight.

I think veggies, some fruits are also very toxic, due to all the different chemicals being used to grow them and the soil being denutrated in many things, including micro organisms. Some meat is less toxic maybe, because the animal filtered it all out by his kidneys, liver, etc and the meat is 'cleaner' than the veggies, etc. There are so many things sprayed even to preserve them and looking good on the shelves. I think the list would be endless long, when you put everything to the list in what people do and use. I remember an African living in the Netherlands, drinking milk and feeling awful. He said, he went to Afrika where his family lived, drinking there milk from their cows and he did not suffer from that milk. Makes you think, is it not?

I would be asking the Church if fruit + roots are allowed because soluble fiber is more kind to my gut. Veggies that are raw and the insoluble fiber in them will tear my stomach up. I'd rather have the fasting option as well because then I'd just eat a heavy meat meal before and fasting can also heal my gut while observing said occasion. If there is only the vegan option, I'd have some pineapple, sweet potatoes, + cinnamon apples (cooked) on standby. 💗✝️🙏

Did you have any problems sweating? You look great!
@MidlifeCarnivore11 күн бұрын
I always felt like I couldn’t sweat, but then I had a sweat test, and it turns out I do sweat. I was surprised! It does seem to take me a long time to sweat, but then, I also have a long history of avoiding heat, so that doesn’t help. 😂

Heavy metal toxicity. Carnivore for the win. You may need to eat fresh meat and avoid thiols in dairy and eggs. Need to chelate.

Variety is important if you're struggling. 😊 I prioritize red meat but I add chicken, pork, fish, shrimp, etc. to add more variety. I love eggs. And have a little dairy.

Medications often cause many of the symptoms you experienced..
@MidlifeCarnivore11 күн бұрын
They definitely can. Most of the years I was experiencing the odd symptoms, I wasn’t on any medications. But certain medications can trigger mast cell reactions, so I still need to be careful.
@redtailedspirit486310 күн бұрын
Yep. I had all this happen from hydrocortisone cream, round of antibiotics and several rounds of prednisone. Was sick for 10 years even though it was less than a year that I had taken these drugs for a poison ivy rash. Had no health problems prior to using these drugs.

She obviously documented her issues. She is a registered nurse. She also has her own KZbin channel Tube channel. Of course it is plausible for her to recount this all. She knows her own story and maybe she has it all written down too.

Whoa there, meat maestro! 🥩😄 While your carnivore journey might feel like a health boost, evidence suggests a varied diet rich in plants is actually the key to long-term wellness! 🌱💚 Plus, think of all those happy animals enjoying their lives instead of ending up on your plate! 🐶✨
