Not all that unusual really. If it's a place that normally allows parking they set the signs up early so people who are already parked have time to leave, but nobody else will come in and park. We used to do that along parade routes in my home town.

The A-frame sign were not there the night before, but the big one on the pole definitely was. I couldn't understand why he parked right by a no parking sign? Extra danger factor, but he never mentioned it. Also, in the morning the A-frame signs are across the street as well.

Was 9 hours from home and needed to save money for my child visitation/custody which my daughter won! GO SINGLE DAD'S! No blacked-out windows, got up early went in to cop-shop and got an assist to go pick-up my kid! Got caught sleeping in the open bed of my truck in a Auburn church parking lot 2 years ago with my girlfriend.Cop scared the crap out of her! Nothing like bright flashing lights and a bull horn at 2 in the morning! She never did anything so blood-thirsty crazy as open truck bed camping before! Life experience she'll never forget! Live free!

Dude...it says no parking!!!!! Lol I did the 10 day survival trip as well....we did the Bowron Lakes, starting at Beckers Lodge, and ended up at a place i don't remember, i was 16...everyone, except 3 of us, drank lake water, and got beaver feaver, while Vince, my troup leader, said eat highbush cranberries, dont swallow seeds, but holy crap that berry quenched my thirst! Loved that training!! Moved harder into self sufficient camping for a couple weeks in plan, food was 30ft high, strung by rope, areas tarped like a castle...absolutely loved fires in the pouring rain, of Red Sands, on the Kalum Lake west edge...that whole valley i have walked, mushroom picking for pine mushrooms...the forest awaits!!

@navbravic13553 жыл бұрын
I did city car camping for a solid year or so (and in a Ford Focus no less) and this was THE #1 pain in the butt. You learn how to map the public bathrooms real quick. Depending on the city, alleys and wooded areas are also your friend. Also, you'd be surprised how long you can ignore the need to go, especially when it's freezing outside--But then a lot of mornings end up being an urgent drive to the bathroom. Had my car towed away one morning in NYC because I HAD to park illegally to use a bathroom.
@samholdsworth4202 жыл бұрын
Steve's probably a morning pooper and doesn't have to go again until the next morning. And Gatorade bottles are your friend. You need that wide mouth to avoid a mess...
