I know an indie game that I think you'll enjoy. It's called HuniePop and it's gotten very positive reviews so far. But it's a VERY mature game and the Steam version is censored but the developers released a patch that you can download to uncensor it.

I always love it when someone makes an adventure (or in this case, a mystery) game using RPG Maker. At least the ones I've found don't cost money! ...Aside from Victim of Xen, but I haven't dumped money on that, so I'm not counting it (plus, I think it's actually, you know, an RPG). BTW, love your stuff. Totally subbed.

Not gonna lie. Your Ms paint art looks pretty decent. The red caped robot looks especially nice with the rendering. Have you considered downloading another drawing programme to use? Firealpaca is pretty good, and it's free.

Psst--a thermal is a pocket of warm air that helps keep certain types of birds--and by extension, gliders, etc.--airborne. It's...kind of amazing that the developer actually made the effort to include that in the game!

I actually have a copy of Echelon, complete in the box. I tried to get it to work for like, ten minutes and gave up. I should probably go and try and get it to work and see how it is, maybe even review it. PS: If you want an actually good submarine game, you should try the demo for AquaNox if you want something with arcadey action, or Jane's 688i if you want something so realistic you could probably pilot a real submarine by the time you finish it.

Dredd actually is a pretty good film. Definitely recommend it. Stay away from the Stallone one, though. Don't know who's idea it was to have Judge Dredd, a character who never shows his face, wear the helmet for a fifth of the film or so.

+El Critico Molesto Too late; already seen the Stallone one. I've heard that Stallone actually really wanted to do the movie correctly and leave the helmet on the whole movie, but the people in charge basically said "We're paying for a huge star- we're going to show his face!" That's the least of the movie's problem though.

El Critico Molesto Yup; Rob Schneider is a very significant problem. I'd argue a bigger problem is that the movie pretty much abandons the really cool setting that we're shown at the beginning of the movie.

***** I'd say that too, but we've seen that type of setting quite a few times (Blade Runner, Demolition Man, Super Mario Bros., The Fifth Element), so while it sucks, it's not the biggest loss. Now, Rob Schneider on the other hand...

Got two questions for you:1: Did any of these Steam games in any of these Indie reviews do ANYTHING right? And 2: This is going to sound off topic, but since you like Kamen Rider, what's your opinion on Power Rangers? And following that, do you think you'd check out the PS2 game Power Rangers: Super Legends? (I know, not related to Steam, but it was on my mind.)

+Dustin Jackson (DJNetwork) Spermination from the first special was a technically competent shooter- it just had God-Awful objectives that wasted the solid mechanics. Dive to the Titanic had good controls that seemed to simulate an actual submarine pretty well, but those good controls were wasted on everything else being garbage. Every now and then a game will do one thing right that just gets buried under all the rest of the crap in the game. The only Kamen Rider series I've seen or been interested in is Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, just for clarification- I haven't checked out the other series and currently don't have the inclination to- I've got so much other stuff going on that I watch. I don't remember much about Power Rangers (haven't watched it since the first series when I was a kid) and I remember it being really corny. I prefer Dragon Knight's solid compelling choreographed martial arts fights and character-driven and serious story over what I remember of Power Rangers: effects-driven robot battles and a fluff story. That may not be fair since I haven't seen the series in a long time, but it's my opinion.

+Darklordjadow1 Well, at least some games do ONE thing right, just a shame everything else is a mountain of shite.Sometimes, Rangers can have very good story (I've heard Dino Charge is pretty good) but it can be incredibly cheesy (and I've heard Megaforce is AWFUL). Also, how do you get those paragraph breaks in? I've been hitting enter to break up paragraphs, and it doesn't work.

Dustin Jackson Yup; it's just that much more sad when one good thing gets wasted. Glad to hear Power Rangers did evolve in some series. I don't know what to tell you about paragraph breaks; I just press Enter twice and it adds the paragraph break like you were typing in Microsoft Word. What are you doing to type these messages?

Yeah, but it's only 100 dollars. It's been in place for a long time- it hasn't dissuaded people. Jim Sterling has a series "Best of Steam Greenlight Trailers" if you need further proof that it's not a deterrent

Steam doesn't pull games unless they're offensive (don't look too deep into Yohjo Simulator- it will make you really mad) or copyrighted material. Otherwise: anything goes. Hope you don't mind- I changed out my wallpaper to my drawing of the Steamlord (pun not intended) for the video. I figured those photos were between us.
