I've discovered that a springform pan works brilliantly instead of the pan you use in this video. I take the glass insert and cut parchment paper to fit. I like your steamer better than my wok though - the lid for my wok is NOT tight-fitting. Oh well....Also, I use coconut milk because it tastes much better than regular whole milk. I love the simplicity of this recipe and my family gobble it up....we never have leftovers. Thank you...

Didn't know that rice flour can be used in a cake recipe. Thank you Xiao Gao Jie for sharing. Looking forward to try it soon and hope I can succeed with this simple recipe. Have yet to find success with sponge/chiffon cakes. Fingers crossed. Will update results. Have a blessed day :)

Made this twice. Love it!! 2nd time I substituted milk with instant coffee. 😋 If I were to use oven to bake it, may I know the temperature and duration of baking? Thank you. 😄

You can do 300 F for 50 minutes (or longer)or until cake no longer jiggly and I didn’t cover with foil if using oven. The surface won’t crack at this temperature
Amazing cake i must try it, if I'll cook it in a oven, will the result be the same? And if yes at wich temperature 170 °C?

no it will not. the cake is supposed to be moist and fluffy almost like a bun...not crumby. oven might dry it out.

Try the Bagno Maria (Italian )method which means to put the cake pan on a tray with hot water, then cook it in the oven. Try the same way to make the Japanese jiggling cheesecake method.
