STEERING ON ZWIFT IS A GAME CHANGER!

Since the last two zwift updates my Zwift Play has been disconnecting often as many zwifters have noticed in the livechat during streams, in Tour de Zwift it seems like the steering was badly delayed and then during Tour de Zwift stage 2, Zwift Play stopped steering even though the controller was still connected. I decided to break out the old Sterzo Smart Steering block as I didn't have a great experience before and with fresh AAA batteries it was working fine... until it wasn't 🤣🤣

I have Zwift Play and a PC with a Bluetooth dongle. Solution for me was to use a USB extension cable. Attached it to my handlebar so the Bluetooth dongle is 20cm from each controller. No disconnects. Cheers.

Nice tip! Mine has only started to play up since the last 2 Zwift updates (not play updates) so assume it's something with that as my macbook is probably closer than 20cm to the controllers 😢😢

I did the same thing with the extension, Works very well. it is just stupid that they used such bad bluetooth hardware for their play controllers.

Had similar with my Zwift Click, had to be right next to the bluetooth dongle@@40yearsoldskatenoob

I've had no issues with my Zwift play controllers so far disconnecting, but I use a Windows laptop.

Yeah, not sure it’s a disconnecting issue as I can still use the buttons. Seems to be steering bugs? Although MacBook and Zwift does seem to cause most of my tech issues. Obviously macOS isn’t a priority for them

Lama has yt’b re zwift update today, he mentions it fixes a bug that cocked up draft when steering not connected….fyi…or something…

Sterzo for the win!!!!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOO who would have thought this little thing sitting in the box for the past two years finally got it's time to SHINE! (did you reset your computer?)

Yeah, but now I have to use a boot to weigh down my green screen. Sterzo was perfect for that. I reboot my MacBook often but going clear out Bluetooth connections and do a fresh Zwift install if I can be arsed to race again 😂😂
