Awesome pattern thanks! I just wonder how the stem and leaves will stay in place and not be pulled out if you only pull them straight through to the bottom and then trim?

Thank you 😊 The stems and leaves of the little apples I made all stay in place somehow. They aren’t being played with though. If they are meant as play food maybe you can make little knots on the bottom to secure them.

PS. Just a little reminder, you can't use a traditional blunt knitting needle, you need a sharp end one as it won't go through the stuffing! 🪡

I made an apple (I cut down chain 3 instead of 6) and put it on a crochet trap cup I made a VBS worker at church her kitchen is an apple theme. I have a picture but I don’t see an option to upload it to this comment section.
