Join fitness trainer Albina Katsman for a 30-minute Pilates and strength workout that will leave you feeling strong and balanced. In this routine, you’ll start with a plank-based warmup that will heat up your entire body and prepare you for moves like lunge triceps kickbacks, arm swings, and a weighted core circuit. To get started, all you need is a light set of dumbbells, but if you don't have any, you can still get the benefits of this workout with bodyweight only.

Whenever I think I am in shape, I do some pilates to bring me back to earth! This kicked my butt. Total heart-pumper even without any true cardio. The planks killed me in the best way. Would love a 45 minute to burn out the arms and back more

If you can't or don't do planks than please don't do this workout. Lots of planks. I won't do this routine again.

I’m loving it, as I get older my body is more adapted to low intensity but still intense type of workouts, and Pilates has become one of my fav go to workout. Please do more Pilates videos thank you in advance

i feel bad for saying this but considering everyone is different this is my humble opinion of the video. it was a very challenging workout in regards to positions, however the instructor seems distracted by the cameras. I would start a movement and then she would get amped about what not to do, moving her form to talk directly towards the cameras and then reposition back into the movement. I understand taking the time to show proper form but it would really be nice if this was done before the movement was started not in the middle of it. I also don’t mind the instructor speaking throughout the work out but she does not stop talking at all, I ended up doing most of the video with her on mute. It was very unclear on how long to continue each movement vs rest.

Agree, a bit of countdown of 30,15 and 5 secs helps to push it through especially if it is challenging.

This is a problem with many of the trainers on Popsugar. Not everyone can transition to training in the virtual mode even if they are good at it in real life.

I agree. I really liked the workout and instructor but I do wish there was a bit less talking.

I think she is not actually looking directly at the camera but a clock or timer so she would know when will she transition to the next move

Loved this workout! This was a great weekend challenge. It was hard....not for beginners working out unless you pause and take a break every now and then.

Not a bad workout but waaay too much time in planks and on the hands. My wrists are quite sore after this workout.

I just did it!! Core workouts are the most difficult for me. I just can't get my shoulders up. What can I do to succeed? Any advice, please?
