Incredibly dense and immersive, dark and deep, but still sweet and warm. Damn I love The Pumpkins.

Agreed, James' part is so eerie and creates a really nice ambience for the song to glide. One of the best songs on Mellon Collie.

I'd pay $200 for a predominantly acoustic concert for sure. Some of his other hits would be great to hear again, but his acoustic stuff is the best imho. For me anyway :)

By starlight I'll kiss you And promise to be your one and only I'll make you feel happy And leave you to be lost in mine And where will we go And what will we do? Soon said, I, will know And are you just like me? Dead eyes, dead eyes Are you just like me? Her eyes, her eyes Were as vacant as the seas, yeah Dead eyes, dead eyes And are you just like me? And all along We knew we'd carry on Just to belong By starlight I know you As lovely as a wish granted true My life has been empty My life has been untrue And does she really know, who I really am? And does she really know me at last And are you just like me? Dead eyes, dead eyes Are you just like me? Her eyes, her eyes Were as vacant as the seas, yeah Dead eyes, dead eyes Are you just like me? And are you just like me? And are you just like me? And are you just like me?

he is using his guitar in E flat tuning, also he's playing this version with D - Dmaj7 - Am - G chords, which is the same but two frets up than C

Hearing Billy Corgan sing with vibrato is just so strange, usually when rockers age, their voice naturally loses a bit, but with Corgan it seems like the exact opposite.
@juanitaalvarez8526 Жыл бұрын
I want to know how the hell artists memorize their own song lyrics. Especially when they have a ton of songs.
@leob4403 Жыл бұрын
Rehearsal probably. I mean on any given tour there is a given setlist that is rehearsed. Having said that, they are born to be songwriters which probably means they are better than the average person at remembering their own lyrics. Think about your own art, you might have some stories that you usually tell people that you have rehearsed
@Nicop22279 ай бұрын
I believe if you write it yourself, you're going to have a much easier time memorizing your own words/lyrics. It's your story. See where I'm coming from?
