I'll give sean peyton the one non pass interference call in the playoffs but, let's be honest, he didn't really do anything in all those years that he had drew brees except that one year...and that season was marred by the bounty scandal. He had, arguable by some, an upper echelon passing qb on his team for all those years and has had One sb appearance to show for it. They did win but that's pretty lackluster considering how much the media poishes him. Don't forget, the saints are still in purgatory wity the cap, due to his mishandling of it. I know russ made his mistakes but it's WILD how much peyton gets to have this kind of...like you don't hear much criticism of the guy like you should.

Russell Wilson was done dirty in Denver by ownership and Sean Payton. Their offensive scheme was the worst one they could have possibly instituted considering Wilson's skillsets and he still had a good season last year despite their offensive line being a carousal of injuries. Ownership proved they didn't want him when they approached him mid-season to either drop his injury clause or bench him and then Wilson ripped off a 5 game winning streak. Dan clearly didn't watch enough Broncos games last year. Russ had a great TD-Int ratio but he was still missing way too many open receivers and couldn't see the middle of the field. The offense was choppy, a ton of 3 yard passes and the occasional bomb to Courtland Sutton. He's obviously better than Pickett, but saying he's a top 12 Quarterback means you are looking at his stats and not the actual game tape.

If you had a head coach utilizing an offensive scheme that uses Wilson's strengths he wouldn't be making 5'11" Wilson try to look downfield over his offensive linemen's heads. If you had a head coach utilizing an offensive scheme that uses Wilson's strengths he wouldn't be forced to look downfield and then thrown an outlet pass for 3 yards as his 3rd read. Shannon, the reason the Seahawks moved on from Russ was because in all reality, Russ wanted out and it was causing friction between Pete Carrol and management and Russ. To where there were rumors of Russ wanting to get Pete and John fired. Now I do not know if any of that was true, but if it was then I'm sure that played a huge part in the Seahawks being ready to move on from the Russell Wilson era. He had that one horrendous year with Hackett and going into a new team, with Hackett as a first time head coach and being in a new system, and he was just going to need more time to settle in and get back to his play of old. So then Sean Payton shows up, and right off the get, he already knows Payton doesn't like him, with his comment about Russ isn't going to be there kissing babies or whatever. I have no idea what that comment was in reference to, but that was never going to work between Sean Payton and Russ. I believe everything Dan O just said about Russ! He is still a great QB and he will win again! He just needs to be in the right situation, in which I believe with Pittsburgh he is in. The Steelers got a great deal, and I believe that this is where he will turn his career around and get back to his self of old. Maybe not his prime self, but he will be great. Russ believes in his Faith and in himself so much that he will not allow himself to go out like that! Look out for the Steelers! This will be his new home. Congrats to Pittsburgh! GO HAWKS!!!
